and by doing that I'll
break your chains
that bind you to me
can't you see that all I want?
is for you,
to be happy?
god, you're so stubborn
sometimes
and others you bend too
easily
just walk away from me
from this
if you still love me
as much as you say
let me go
let me fly
you'll find a way to be
happy again someday
with someone else
let me break your heart
just this once.
so you can pick up the pieces
and lift that chin up
in utter defiance
and walk away
stronger
and better
and happy
