i'm counting down the days
the celebration is so close i can touch it
but i don't think i've ever been so nervous
my knees are going to start to shake
my palms are going to start to sweat
i'll be a mess by the end of it
i bit my lip more often now
i'll have canker sores galore
am i going to screw this up?
oh god, i'm going to screw this up
i won't have enough control
to stop myself from the habits
that have become who i am
i'm going to hurt you,
i'm going to hurt myself
and i can't help but fear
the entire idea of this
