everything has become so dark
i'm lost in darkness
"I'll be your light"
you say that, but you're stupid
you're stupid to think you could ever be
a light
we're all dark
we're all in darkness
we're all the darkness
some are just darker than others
i have seen the darkness
felt it, tasted it, heard it
i tried to kill it but
it killed me
i tried to understand it
but it understood me instead
the darkness, the abyss, the void
has become me
(or did I become it)
please don't look at me

or you'll become the darkness
