dear dad
you left us
and then you left us again
and all I wanted
was for you to take me with you
tired mother
you were only gone for an hour or two
but I didn't want to be left alone
with him
why didn't you take me with you?
hey brother
we're so opposite now
you're so happy and living
and I'm so
not?
and now I'm moving on
to a different part of the state
I wish I could take you with me
I miss you
lovely woman
so full of life
you took my heart
and soul with you
and then you took everything
but
me
I held your hand
and cried
"take me with you"
(you still died)
little one
in your tiny little coffin
they lowered you in the ground
and I remember begging God
to take me with younow look at me
i wanted to go with you all
for you to take me away
and now all I do is say
"sorry, you can't come"
