we are all suicidal
we're killing ourselves
with toxic relationships
and cruel people
with cigarettes and alcohol
drugs and hazardous living
with the words we say and the words we read
we don't all swallow handfuls of pills
we don't all take a gun to our head
we don't all slit our wrists open
we don't all wrap a rope around our neck
but we're all killing ourselves
slowly
but definitely
