your broken heart
isn't the end of the world
to even suggest that
is for you to think that you
(or whoever broke your heart)
are important enough to cause
an apocalypse
eventually you'll wake up
and realize that you don't love that person
like you thought
and that you don't feel the burn
the cracks
the aching
in your heart anymore
so don't think a broken heart
is the end of all things
it's not catastrophic to my world
or to yours
or to hers
or to his
or to anyone's
life moves on
and eventually you will too
