words mean nothing
they are just a select arrangement of the same letters
we try to communicate with words
but we always screw things up
because we're screwed up
we can never seem to say exactly what we want to say
because we can never find the words
here i am, writing this poem
all i'm doing is typing these godawful words
desperately hoping someone will understand my message
but i'm failing, i'm failing
because i can't find the right words
(are there even any right words?)
words can't do me justice
words are meaningless
they don't work
they're just
letters
