the thrill of the adventure
is so satisfying
but it's nothing compared
to the lure of the idea
of an adventure
because in our minds,
the idea is so much better
than the actual thing
the idea of a person
is often much more luscious
than the actual person
a person is just a person
but with your damn ideas
you put them on a throne
