where have you been?
i've been looking for you
life isn't a game
because our time is too few
but if it was
it'd be hide n seek
and you're so good at it
but my game is weak
it's kind of cliche
to be searching for you
but i need to know
where you run off to
eventually i'll find you
at least, i hope
because if i don't
my neck's going in rope
maybe one day
i can open the door
and see you standing there
promising you won't run anymore
you'll tell me there's
no place you'd rather be
and i'll look at you and
say "hello, me"
