why have you listened to society?
when they told you that you weren't enough
or that you were just too much?
why do you think you're not beautiful?
why do you think that beautiful is what appears
glossy and edited, on the cover of a magazine?
why do you think that a pretty face
and a curvy (but thin) body is
beautiful?
why do you think that the only way you'll be beautiful
is if someone tells you so
and is if you're aesthetically pleasing?
don't you see that your idea of beauty
is shallow
and ugly?
if you want to be beautiful
then smile and be kind
and beautiful where is matters:
on and inside
