(thankfully, i always hated making you sad)
and you don't cry for me anymore

because you don't care for me anymore
and that's okay with me, i'm fine with that
i'm glad i don't break your heart anymore
i'm glad you don't love me anymore
because i never really could love you
and you never really could make me cry or sad or care
you never could break my heart
and that's okay with us, right?
we're fine with that
although i will admit it was nice
to know that someone has your back
