for what you did
the hideous action,
the perverted deed.
i was just a child!

and you took advantage of me
i forgive you
for ruining me
and setting off a chain of events
that caused such tragedy
in my life
"i forgive you"
(those three little words
hold so much power
and are so hard to say)
i'll say "i forgive you"
every night, every day
until i really forgive you
and until i forgive myself
