"Do you have an ouch?"
"A what?"
"An ouch, see? Like the ouch on my arm."
"Oh, a bruise?"
"An ouch, yes."
"Well, not exactly."
"You have one on the inside, right?"
"Yeah, you could say that."
"I wish I could kiss it and make it better. Can you kiss my ouch and make it better?"
"The one on your arm?"
"Yes, please."
"Okay, there."
"Thank you! I feel better."
"Good."
"What are you doing?"
"Writing letters."
"To who?"
"You."
"But I can't read."
"That's okay, these are for when you get older."
"Oh. Why are you writing for when I get older?"
"Because I may not be here."
"What?"
"See? I have one for you when you start college, and get married..."
"Why won't you be here?"
"I might be up with my brother."
"Grandmere told me about your brother. He's in heaven with my brother."
"Your...brother?"
"Yes, a twin! You had a twin, too. Now both our twins are in heaven. So we can be together on earth."
"Of course."
"I don't want you to go to heaven. You couldn't come back, and I'd miss you."
"I'd miss you, too."
"Is it because of the ouch?"
"Yes."
"Maybe I can kiss it so you won't have to go."
"Maybe. Hey, now, don't cry."
"I love you and I don't want you to go."
"I love you, too."
