because in the quiet,
my mind is too loud
and i'm afraid of what i'll do

they don't speak up, they don't open up
and their quietness
slowly stirs a violence
so deep, so cruel
"sometimes quiet is violent"
silence isn't always the answer
but loudness is as dangerous, too
