it is impossible for love and hate
to coexist
love and hate are two extremes
in the middle rests apathy
hate, the absence of love
love, the absence of hate
if you fully hate
you have let go of all your love
and the hate now consumes you
in order to fully love
you must let go of all your hate
and let the love consume you
i think i have found a resting home
in the middle
i feel no hate
and i feel no love
(for you)
instead i am consumed
by apathy
and this apathy
is peaceful
