smile, the worst is yet to come
mikky ekko, smile
plaster on the blinding smiles
force a cheery grin
let everyone know that it's all good
even though it's going to hell
paint on the pretty faces
the straight teeth flashing bright
to most animals baring teeth
is aggression
to us it's a way of silent
oppression
because our "smiles" are fake
our joy insincere
we're unhappy people
trying to convince the world
that everything is alright
everything is good
the world is perfect
and so are we
but we're just lying
to ourselves
