i'm so close to being gone
it's not like i've been here with you
these past weeks anyway
i've stepped back
to let you all be on your own
do you like it?
i'm so proud
you can stand on your own
i'm not needed anymore
(i never was,
and that makes me happy)
and i'm not missed as much
as i was months ago
time has helped me out
in separating myself
i think it's nearly time
the question is,
are you ready to say goodbye?
