for you
I'd sell the sun
to the highest bidder
and then sit in the darkness
of an unreflecting moon
for you
I'd drain the sea
uncovering the deeps of what
humanity should never see
and I'd count the grains of sand
left burning from the waters
for you
I'd bottle up a star
hot and burning amidst the coldness
of outer space
and I'd keep the bottle in my pocket
floating, without gravity
looking for another earth
to plant the star
and grow a constellation
for you
I would do
a lot
of crazy things
but you
don't care
at all
