Chan woke up the next day, after the sun had already set. The clock on the table by the bed read 8:40pm. He had slept for a very long time but instead of looking refreshed, he was the exact opposite.

Haggard.

His hair was tousled like a bird's nest. His skin was ghastly pale and the edges of his eyes were a bit dark. He looked like a wounded vampire.

It was way past visiting time but rules didn't work for Seo Changbin and Hwang Hyunjin who were in Chan's private room because Mingi had transfered Chan from the other hospital to the Seo's largest hospital which was already standardized and had all the latest best equipment.

The private wards were made like single bedroom apartments. With a living room and dining area. There was also a kitchen where one could cook if the patients were picky with food.

Chan wasn't one of them so Mingi wasn't disturbed. Besides, Chan would eat anything as long as it was spicy.

"How do you feel?" Hyunjin asked Chan, looking concerned. He was dressed in a fashionable shirt made of blue silk over black trousers. As usual, his fingers and wrists were adorned with silver rings, one wristwatch, and silver fashion bracelets. There was only one golden ring on his ring finger, signifying what they were yet to tell Chan.

Chan was sitting upright in bed, his back straight, staring at his left hand in a daze. He didn't even hear Hyunjin's question.

"Chris, are you okay?" Changbin asked, pushing up his glasses. He was dressed corporately with a pure white lab coat over his clothes.

Again, Chan didn't answer.

"He has been staring at that hand since he woke up" Mingi informed them. "I don't know why. He refused to speak to me or even eat. I just hope nothing happened to his brain because of that fall"

Changbin had already read the reports and they had done their own examination. Chan was perfectly fine. "There must be some other reason" he said. "Did something happen specifically to that hand? Did he hold something important with it?"

Mingi thought for a while then shook his head. "Nothing that I know of"

"Then the answer lies with him" Changbin sighed. "Unless he talks, we can't know"

Frustrated, Hyunjin poked Chan in the arm with his finger. "Hey, hey Chris, did you become dumb or something? What's so special about that hand?"

Hyunjin reached out to touch it but before he could, Chan's right hand held his wrist tight. He suddenly felt a bone chilling glare directed at him and he froze. Hyunjin's heart shot up to his throat when he saw Chan's face.

Fuck!

It was as if his eyes were made from ice, shooting glares that seemed at if they would cut your skin. Hyunjin literally trembled.

Changbin saw the danger and hurriedly pulled Hyunjin away. "Babe, I don't think you should test him right now" he said. "I've never seen him look like this"

Hyunjin nodded as he burrowed into Changbin's arms to calm himself. "I actually thought he was going to hit me" Changbin planted a kiss on Hyunjin's head, then stroked his blonde hair.

"He wasn't" Mingi said. "If he wanted to hit you, he would have done it instead of holding your hand. That was a warning"

Chan wasn't listening to them at all. His entire concentration was on that hand.

On the back of that hand, right on his skin, he could still feel that touch. The warmth of that small palm against his skin. The feeling of those slender fingers in between his. It felt almost real. As if Felix was really there. Chan was so happy that tears warm welled up in his eyes, melting the frost that was there some seconds ago. His expression went soft.

Changbin, Hyunjin, and Mingi were shocked to see tears suddenly roll down Chan's face. Fear soon followed. Chan hardly ever cries. The only times he did was when he remembers Felix.

They now understood. That hand must have something to do with Felix. Maybe Chan remembered something from when they were together.

Hyunjin felt distressed. He didn't like what Chan did to Felix but he also couldn't see Chan like this. He was already moved to tears. "Chris, if you're not okay, talk to us. We're you friends and we're here for you. Don't bottle up your feelings. You'll feel better when you share, okay? We can help you"

Chan didn't reply but he turned his head and looked at them. His eyes were red and filled with tears. He stretched out his hand and showed them. "He touched me"

Stunned, all three gazed at him like he was crazy.

Changbin recovered first. He pushed Hyunjin behind him and shielded him with his body. "Chris, who touched you?"

Mingi was starting to believe that Chan had a brain problem.

Chan held his left hand to his chest and his tears flowed freely. "H-He touched me" he croaked. His lips broke into a smile. The genuine kind that they hadn't seen in years. "Felix touched me. Mingi, Felix touched me"

Everyone's hearts fell. One thought rang in their minds.

Chan had truly lost it this time.

But Hyunjin and Changbin who knew the truth about Felix, didn't know that Felix had truly touched Chan. Jeongin and Felix never revealed to anyone what happened the day before. They had decided to keep it between them.

And though Chan was asleep, he had felt Felix's touch and in his dreams, he saw Felix smiling at him.

Chan turned to Mingi, looking as if he had made the world's greatest discovery. There was even that spark of excitement in his eyes. "Mingi, why didn't I think of this before? Find all the Buddhist priests you can in Korea and transport them all to the Lee mansion by tomorrow. I want them there by 9pm sharp"

Hyunjin and Changbin exchanged confused glances. Bewildered, Mingi asked, somewhat hesitantly, "Uh, for what Chris?"

Chan placed his left hand right over his heart and spoke with a tender tone. "We're going to summon Felix"
