Light streamed through the curtain of the window beside Chan's bed, bathing him in a soft golden glow. The sun was already setting so the rays weren't glaring. They were mild instead, making the room look serene. Chan looked so peaceful as he slept, as if all the worries he had just disappeared. The sharp looking edges of his face seemed gentle, as if his personality wasn't cold at all. In fact, he looked very approachable.

His silky dark strands were disheveled, making a beautiful contrast against the stark white pillow and the bandages wrapped around his head. His skin was pale and smooth. Like porcelain and his dark long lashes were a bit curled at the tips, making wide, fan-like shapes over his cheekbones. His lips were a pale pink, thin, and a bit dry but it didn't deter his handsomeness at all. His features were chiseled and acute, making him look serious but sexy at the same time.

Felix couldn't help but sigh. Christopher Bang was just so breathtaking. As if the Goddess of beauty had taken her sweet time to carve out his face. Felix wondered how Chan would look up close if he opened his eyes. Intense? Serious? Flirty? Felix could actually imagine it. He also wondered what colour they were. Back at the station, maybe it was because Chan was angry but he looked really fierce and scary. Here, he looked the exact opposite.

So gentle.

Felix knew he wanted to enter and see Chan but now that he was inside, he didn't know what to do.

He gazed around the room, feeling somewhat lost. He had no connection with Christopher Bang. He wasn't the 'Felix' Christopher Bang was talking about but Felix couldn't help it. He just felt so drawn.

Felix gasped. Could he have fallen for Christopher Bang in just a day? No! That was impossible. He just wanted to properly see the man that saved him twice. That was all. It had to be all.

As he moved closer to Chan, he wondered, have they really never met? Was there really no connection between them? If there weren't, then why did he feel this way? Felix was positive that he had never felt like this towards anybody before.

Just this man...

Chan's chest was steadily rising and falling, indicating that he was breathing well. It was somewhat hypnotizing and Felix found himself breathing the same way. Slow and deep. It calmed his racing heart and he felt a lot better.

"I'm sorry" he said. His voice was soft in the quiet room. "I really didn't know you were behind the door. I should have been more careful"

Felix knew Chan couldn't hear him but he still apologised for he didn't know when they would meet again. "And thank you for protecting me"

As his voice fell, Chan's left hand, which was placed on his midriff, moved slightly. Felix was afraid that he had woken Chan up so he went silent and held his breath but after some time, Chan didn't open his eyes so he sighed, relieved.

Felix then gazed at the hand. It was big enough to cover his face. The fingers were slim and long with perfectly cut clean nails. Felix thought, wow. Even the hands were attractive.

He suddenly felt the itch to touch. The doctor didn't estimate what time Chan would wake up. It could be anytime so Felix wanted to do it quickly and leave. At least, he would feel this man once more. It would be his own secret.

With that thought in mind, Felix became excited. Like a teenager who had discovered the thrill of being in love for the first time. He gingerly placed his hand over Chan's and gasped softly. The skin beneath his palm was warm and smooth. Felix had held the hands of many but this one wasn't the same. It felt very different, unique. It sent his heart racing.

If Felix could see his own face, he would be shocked to find it tinged pink. He didn't realise that just placing his hand on top of Chan's could make him blush. Like a shy kid. Felix let the entire weight of his hand rest on Chan's, then he slowly moved, intertwining their fingers until they fit perfectly. Then he squeezed softly.

Inside, Felix with giddy with joy. He didn't know why but just touching Chan made him happy.

Alas, Felix didn't get to enjoy more when the door was pushed open and two figures walked in. Felix quickly pulled away and stood up.

"I knew it!" Jeongin whispered harshly, not wanting to wake Chan up. "You still came inside even when I forbade you to! Just what is wrong with you? Why won't you fucking listen?!"

Felix was annoyed. "Dude I'm not a kid! Quit talking to me like that. You can't control everything I do. You may have already finished college, started your own family and taken over the Yang family business but don't forget that we are agemates. You're not older than me Jeongin. We're fucking mates so stop acting like you're older than me and you can tell me what to do. I will do what I want!" He whisper-yelled back then huffed and stormed out of the room.

Jeongin was stunned. He didn't think Felix would speak like that. Ever since Felix lost his memories, he had mostly been obedient. He listened to everyone like a good child and never disobeyed. Now, after meeting Chan, Jeongin was starting to see traces of the old Felix. He had gotten so used to the new Felix that he forgot the true kind of person Felix is.

T

he arrogant pampered only child of the Lees that got everything he wanted.

"Hey asshole, are you going to stand there looking stupid with your mouth open or should I kick your ass out?" Mingi grumbled.

Jeongin shut his mouth, glared at Mingi then quickly went after Felix.

Mingi scoffed at he watched Jeongin leave. One was unnecessarily aggressive and the other was a psycho. How could he just enter the room and touch Chan? Mingi shook his head. "What a bunch of mad people"
