He could understand Chan's pain at that time and his father's too. Although he didn't like what happened on both sides, he and Chan had decided to leave the past in the past. No need to peel open old wounds and hurt again.

"No Lixie no," Jisung said, shaking his head. "You did nothing to him. You didn't do a single thing to hurt him and yet he hurt you. He hurt you to the extent that your mother had to fake your death."

Felix went pale.

So that was the reason they moved abroad? Because his death had to be faked so Chan would not find him and kill him?

But then he thought of all the things that Chan had done for him since they met again. The way Chan protected him, the way Chan took care of him, how much Chan loves him.

A person who wants you dead will never shower you with so much love and care.

He wanted to trust Jisung but he also couldn't deny the things he had seen with his own eyes and the things he felt when Chan was around.

There was no way Chan wanted him dead. Chan would turn the entire world upside down if something bad happens to him. Like the way he destroyed the hands of those stinky men that tried to have their way with him.

Felix scoffed, shaking his head. Jisung had to be lying. "I can't believe you would stoop so low, Sungie" he said in a mellow tone. "I regained some of my memories and I know that you and Chan were not on good terms. You didn't like him and obviously, you still don't. Is that why you're trying to get him out of my life? What will you even gain by doing this?"

"Lixie, it's not like that. I-" Jisung tried to explain.

"Oh shut the fuck up!" Felix yelled, cutting him off. "I'm not stupid okay! I mean, you're back. You're alive and you're well. I should be fucking happy. Hell, I am happy that you're alive. I really am but, fuck, man I should be hugging the life out of you right now. I should be- fuck dude this is so fucked up. You decide to reveal yourself in the most fucked up way. How can you do this to me?"

Tears spilt down his cheeks as he let out his anger through words. They were a mix of sorrow and rage. After everything, this is how his best friend decides to show up. With a stranger who had his nudes. It was really disappointing. What did Jisung want from him then? Why wait until this moment to show up? Why leave in the first place?

What should have been a happy reunion turned extremely sour in seconds.

Jisung was somewhat at a loss. He hadn't expected Felix to concentrate on anything else but his return. The Felix he knew would have been hugging the life out of him by now, crying like a baby whom he would hug tight and smother with kisses. He was surprised to see the change in Felix. It wasn't part of his plans at all.

"So now what, Jisung? Felix asked, wiping his tears with the back of his hands as he glared at him, feeling disappointed. "State your demands. What do you fucking want?" It broke his heart to know that the person he had been worrying about for years just wanted to use him. It was so painful his chest ached.

Everything had changed.

Everyone had changed.

Jisung chuckled lowly. If he should say what he wanted, Felix might even pass out from shock so he decided to turn everything on Felix, hoping to make Felix feel guilty into doing whatever he wanted.

He sighed dejectedly, lowering his head as if he was extremely pained by Felix's words. "I can't believe you would think that of me, Lixie."

"Then what do you expect me to think?" Felix cried. "This was our spot you know. Ours. This abandoned building. It was our place. Me and you. I was wondering why this blackmailer wanted to meet here and how he knew about this place but it turns out that he's with you." He shook his head. "I really can't believe this. Why did you come back? What do you want? For me to leave Chan too?"

"He'll only ruin your life Lixie," Jisung stated.

"Oh my fucking God" Felix laughed sarcastically, running a hand through his brown locks, frustrated. "Unbelievable. So this is what brought you back? To tell me to leave Chan if not, he'll destroy me? You didn't come back because you missed me. You didn't come back because you wanted to put an end to my questions, to my agony. You just want me to leave Chan. This is the first time we're meeting in years Sungie. The very first time in five years and this is what you tell me."

Jisung realised he didn't really think things through. He shouldn't have planned based on what he knew about Felix. He had forgotten that people change. He should have started slowly. "Lixie-"

"Fucking save it Jisung" Felix cut him off once again. "I'm so mad at you right now."

Jisung signalled Beomgyu to leave them alone and Beomgyu let out a relieved sigh as he quickly walked out. He wanted to leave anyway. He didn't want to witness their whole drama. It seemed like Jisung had a lot of explaining to do.

"Felix, please, let's talk calmly okay," Jisung said. "I have my reasons. I'll explain everything."

He took a step towards Felix but Felix took a step back, not wanting to be near him.

"We can talk like this," he said. "Just fucking stay where you are. With how angry I feel, I can fucking punch you."

Daring to cook stories about Chan so they would break up.

Jisung wanted to say that he'll take it. He'll take the punch. He'll take anything as long as he could have physical contact with Felix. As long as Felix would not be mad at him anymore but he remained silent, knowing that he didn't have a strong hold on Felix's heart yet. Felix wasn't his yet.

"So talk, Jisung," Felix said, folding his arms as he gave him a stern look. "Tell me why you're in cahoots with a guy who has naked pictures of me."

"He didn't take those pictures Lixie. Chan did."

"Is that what I asked you?" Felix asked, glaring at him. "Chan's part in this is different and it doesn't concern you okay? That's between him and me. What's between me and you right now is our friendship. I asked why you're with that sleazy bastard not who took the pictures. Who is he to you? Why are you allowing him to use them against me? Am I not your best friend? Do you not care about me anymore?"

"Of course I do!" Jisung exclaimed. Felix was everything to him. "You have no idea."

"Then why is this the thing that's happening when we meet for the first time after five long years?" Felix asked. "We're supposed to be catching up dude. Where you've been, what happened that you left, why you're back, those are what we should be discussing not my nudes. I'm fucking disappointed in you."

Jisung started to feel angry. He didn't get why Felix was angry with him instead of Chan. "The person you should be disappointed in is Chan, not me," he said. "I mean, I just did you a favour by letting you know what Chan did to you. I'm trying to make you see that you're with the wrong person. All he'll do is ruin your life."
