Chan leaned forward, as if he wanted to tell a secret then whispered, "I'm actually over a thousand years old. I've lived for centuries, accumulating wealth from all over the world"

Felix also leaned forward with mirth in his eyes and whispered, "Oh my God, you're a vampire?"

"Shhh" Chan shushed. "You're the only one that knows. It'll be our little secret" He winked and Felix couldn't help but laugh. Chan was quite happy and he felt warm both in and out. Although he didn't like the fact that Felix couldn't remember their past, he felt that maybe this was better. This clean slate. The past should just remain in the past.

He noticed a stain by the corner of Felix's lips made by the chocolate syrup. He extended his hand and used his thumb to wipe if off then stuck the tongue in his mouth, licking it away. Chan felt it was even sweeter than he knew it to be.

The action was done fast and it left Felix stunned. His smile was frozen on his face and he watched as Chan's pink tongue swiped over his thumb and the chocolate disappeared. Felix's heart skipped a beat and he leaned back in his seat, cheeks turning a light pink.

He wanted to question Chan's action but Chan just smiled at him and continued to eat, as if they were a couple and it was a very normal thing to do. The words that were at the tip of his tongue were swallowed down and he took a sip of his coffee but it did nothing to ease the tingly sweet feeling he felt inside.

He felt like a teenager with a major crush on the dark haired adonis sitting beside him. He didn't know what to say or do so he kept stuffing his face with the pancakes. Chan bit his lip to stop himself from smiling at Felix's reaction. He could see the reddened ears of Felix even through his hair and knowing his touch still had an effect on Felix made him feel a whole lot better.

Felix may have forgotten him but it looked like his body didn't.

They were made for each other and Chan will not stop until he gets him back.

Only if the clean slate wasn't starting to get tainted by the memories deeply buried within Felix's mind. If only the thick wall stopping them from bursting through wasn't already cracking.

"Woah, what are you doing here?" Hyunjin asked Chan, shocked to find him in their secret club. Well it wasn't much of a secret since it was a club created for rich people to have fun but Chan had never been there so it was quite shocking. A thought floated into Hyunjin's mind and he gasped. "Don't tell me you're stalking Felix!"

Chan's perfectly arched brow twitched. Sure he has been stalking Felix for the past two days but he didn't follow Felix to the club. "Felix invited me to watch a game" he said as he sat next to Hyunjin on the long bench. "See if you don't believe me"

Knowing Hyunjin would certainly not believe, Chan took out his phone and showed him the messages between him and Felix. "I got his number after our breakfast date the other day"

Chan couldn't hide the smile on his face. He could remember how nervous he was that day but thankfully, even though he was sure Felix noticed, Felix didn't laugh at him. Instead, he collected his phone, typed in his number and flirtatiously asked Chan to call him.

Recalling the scene alone made Chan's heart race. He felt like a lovesick teenager.

Hyunjin rolled his eyes and tucked some stray strands of blonde hair behind his ear. "You haven't even officially asked him out yet but I can see the pink bubbles floating around your head. You're not even sure he'll say yes"

"I'll make do with what I've got" Chan shrugged. "You have no idea how grateful I am. If he says yes, then that's fine. If he says no, then I'll keep trying until he says yes. I won't give up. Besides, I think he likes me. He won't give me his time if he doesn't"

Hyunjin knew the truth. Felix liked Chan already. It was something like love at first sight but something made him want to dampen Chan's hopes. "Felix used to be a player. He played all sorts of girls back then. You know that better than me. How are you sure he's not playing you?"

The thought struck fear into his heart but he feigned confidence. "As long as I'm the one he sees. As long as he gives me his attention, I will be content....for now"

"For now?" Hyunjin asked, amused.

The thought of being played made Chan's mood drop and he became serious, "I'll work hard. I won't let him think of anyone else but me"

Hyunjin couldn't help but laugh. "I was just messing with you. I think you two are doing just fine"

Chan's worries eased and he looked down at Hyunjin's hand, specifically his ring finger. "When are you two planning to tell me?" he asked, gesturing at the ring.

"Ah this..." Hyunjin went red. "Changbin proposed to me last month. We wanted to tell you since we came back but you came to dinner with that terrible version of Felix and we forgot. We're planning to get married in three months"

Chan was genuinely happy for them. "Congratulations" He looked forward to the day he would stand at the alter with Felix and say their vows. A wedding...

It was something Chan had never thought about until he met Felix. Felix was the first person that made Chan realise that there was more to life than just breathing and  following orders. Felix made him realise that he could be happy. He could want things other than what Mr Yoongi wanted for him. With Felix, Chan felt...free.

But he ruined it all by himself.

"Thank you" Hyunjin said, touching the ring with a smile on his face. "Changbin will ask you to be his best man. It's a surprise so act surprised when the time comes"

Chan smiled knowing Hyunjin always ruined surprises. He did it every time when they were in college and asked Chan to act surprised. Some things truly never change.

Little by little, the bleachers got filled up until there were no more seats left and some had to stand by the sides. The spectators consisted of more females than males and many of them were carrying posters, screaming their lungs out even before the game. Chan wondered where Felix was but he didn't ask. He was sure that Felix would appear sooner or later. He was very patient and continued chatting with Hyunjin. Soon enough, Felix turned up, accompanied by the deafening screams of the girls around.
