"What is taking him so long?" Jisung asked as he stared at his phone, feeling frustrated. "He was supposed to be here an hour ago."
Beomgyu gazed at his white coloured nails and smiled. "I painted my nails snow white. Do you think Chris will like it? He loved seeing me in white when we were together."
He wasn't listening to Jisung at all.
Minho, who was sitting on a chair with his long legs crossed on a table, scoffed. "You mean he loved seeing Felix in white."
This made Beomgyu scowl. "Watch your mouth, Minho. At least I'm not busy lusting after a mad man."
Minho pinned Beomgyu a glare cold enough to freeze hell. "What the fuck did you just say?"
Beomgyu was unfazed. He even smirked like a sly fox. "You heard me."
Minho stood up and was about to launch himself at the white fox when Jisung roared and threw his phone to the ground, smashing it into pieces.
This made Beomgyu smile even more. He then pointed at Jisung with his perfectly manicured nails. "See what I'm talking about? A mad man."
If it weren't for Chan, he wouldn't even associate himself with the likes of Jisung.
Minho badly wanted to punch Beomgyu in the face but Jisung came first.
Jisung always comes first.
He rushed towards Jisung and hugged him from behind, stopping him from starting his usual tantrum. "It's okay. It's okay. Maybe he was held up by something."
"Then he should have at least called or sent me a message" Jisung said. He leaned into Minho's embrace as he cried. "Why didn't he? Doesn't he care about me anymore? He has already broken up with Chris. I should be his priority now."
He had already planned how the day would go. It would be like a date. They'll get some food, go to the abandoned building of their former school, eat and catch up. He'll remind him of the things they used to do, how they used to have fun. He'd tell him about Aera and how close they all were. He'd tell him about the things Jeongin did to her and ruin their friendship.
He'd fill Felix's head with all the bad things Chan had done. Felix would believe and then to make things worse, he would pin the deaths of Lisa and Rose on him. He would make sure to cut Felix away from his friends and family. That way, he would have Felix all to himself. He'd tell Felix about his life and Felix would accept him.
At the end, he'll confess his love for him and they'll live happily ever after.
If all that didn't work, he'd just slap a handkerchief of chloroform on his face, make him pass out then carry him back home. Even if Felix didn't love him just yet, he'd teach him.
He'd teach him little by little, how to love him. He was sure Felix couldn't bear to see him hurt.
"But it doesn't work like that Jisung" Minho explained. "Felix needs time. He just broke up with Chan. He won't be looking for another relationship so soon."
Jisung didn't agree."But it's me. How can he not be ready for me?"
"You're forgetting that he doesn't know of your feelings yet" Minho answered. "He won't prioritise you over Chris. After all, you wanted to blackmail him on the very first day you met again."
"But he will surely forgive me. He knew I had his best interests at heart. Minho, It's been five years already" Jisung cried. "And I've already shown him the monster that Chris is. He should be in my arms right now. He can cry all he wants. I'll comfort him then slowly make him accept me. Why ask to meet and then bail?"
Minho suddenly wished he could wipe Felix off the surface of the earth. Felix had caused Jisung so much pain. Jisung had loved him before he even knew what love was but Felix discarded him like a used unwanted rag. Although he was happy Felix had no feelings for Jisung, he'd rather Felix develop them than see Jisung cry and throw tantrums all day.
"I don't know" he answered. "But Felix should have an explanation. You shouldn't have broken your phone. How will he contact you now?"
It then dawned on Jisung that he had smashed his phone on the ground. He freed himself from Minho's arms and knelt before what was left of his phone. He found the sim card then held it to Minho. "Here, put my card in your phone. I'll call him."
Minho did as he was told.
At that point, Beomgyu scoffed. "I never knew you were so desperate Jisung. Be patient will you? If you force things, Felix will get suspicious and he won't fall for your tricks. Who knows if he has told Chris about you already? Chris may be tracking you."
"No. No Felix would never do that" Jisung said, shaking his head. "Felix would never tell Chris."
"And even if he does, Chris can never find us" Minho said. "He has been trying for years now. We're under the protection of Jisung's father. Finding us is impossible."
Jisung thought of what Beomgyu said and nodded. "You're right. I shouldn't push him. We still have our plans. If this one doesn't work out, we'll move to the next. I'll wait for him to contact me."
"Good" Beomgyu praised, wearing a sly smile. He flexed his white nails, feeling smug. "And when he does, we'll be ready for him."
Felix won't even know what hit him.
Beomgyu couldn't wait to get Felix out of the picture. Forever.
As for Jisung, he glanced at Minho's phone, feeling devastated even though he was told to be patient. He had waited for five years. Five entire years to find the best time to show himself to Felix.
He had succeeded but there was something troubling him. It was Felix's reaction last time. That wasn't the Felix he knew.
Well, it didn't matter anymore. He would bring his Felix back no matter what. They had methods and once the Han family got a hold of a person, they would never be let go.
It was time for Felix to be dead to the world once again.
