Felix was still contemplating whether to turn or not. If Chan really wanted to press charges, he would. It didn't matter if he hid his identity. Besides, Chan's secretary already knew everything.

Still, Felix didn't want to get in trouble. He didn't want to make his brothers worry. Maybe he should just turn around and beg. It might ease Chan's anger.

Some seconds passed and the person didn't to turn so it further solidified Chan's hunch. If that was really Felix, then why... all these years...

"Please" he begged. "Please turn around"

Chan's voice was thick with emotion and his eyes were starting to well up with tears. His chest felt so tight that he had to take deep breaths to calm himself and ease the pain. He took a staggering step forward, wanting to reach out and grab the person.

"Felix" he called out tentatively. "Is that you? Is that...really...you?"

Felix stiffened. He hadn't expected Chan to call out his name. But then he remembered that the 'Felix' Chan was talking about wasn't him. His heart was suddenly filled with sorrow. Poor Chan. The one he loves doesn't love him. He must be so heartbroken.

"I-I'm sorry" he stuttered as he slowly turned around. "I'm not him"

The second Felix turned, Chan's heart violently skipped a beat. He froze a few steps away with his eyes wide and his face ghastly pale, as if he had seen a ghost.

Chan was doubting if what he was seeing was real. He couldn't believe it. No. He didn't want to believe it.

"...Felix?" he whispered to himself, shocked to the bone.

Felix was now confused. Why did Chan look so shocked? "Uh, are you okay?" he asked, taking a step forward. "You don't look so good"

Chan was as stiff as a statue and his eyes were glued to him. Felix started to get scared. He thought he had greatly offended Chan so he started to beg, "I'm really sorry. It was truly an accident. Please forgive me. I didn't know you were right outside the door. It's not an excuse, I know, as I should have been more careful but that's how accidents are. You don't mean for them to occur. They just do so please, don't press any charges against me. I'll-"

The next thing Felix felt was a tight but warm embrace, strong enough to crush his bones. His breath was knocked right out of him and his face was pressed to a hard chest, almost suffocating him. He felt as if he was bound tightly my a rope that felt like flesh and bones. He couldn't move an inch. Right beneath the hard muscled chest, Felix could hear the loud dangerous drumming of the man's heart. It was so fast and so powerful that Felix thought it would burst.

He wanted to pull away but Chan held him even closer, preventing from moving. They were stuck like wet clothes to a person's skin. Not even a strand of hair could pass through.

"Felix" Chan called, tightening his hold even further, as if he wanted to mold Felix into his own body. As if he wanted to assure himself that he was really holding a person, a human being, his one and only Felix in his arms. "Felix...Felix...Felix..."

The raw emotion in his voice seeped into Felix's heart. The desperate yet happy tone integrated into his bones. He could literally feel the yearning, the extreme longing fused within the name Chan chanted again and again.

Although his heart was greatly disturbed, Felix knew that it was wrong to let Chan continue to think that he was that 'Felix'. He wanted to struggle and resist but then, the soft sniffles from above his head made him unable to do so. He could feel the warm tears seeping through his hair and wetting his scalp. Chan's body was vibrating and Felix was scared that something bad was happening. His heart went soft and he couldn't bring himself to pull away. Instead, he raised his arms and wrapped them around Chan, making soothing strokes on his back.

"It's okay" he whispered, not knowing how to comfort Chan. "Don't cry anymore. You'll get a headache"

He had no idea how overjoyed Chan was at this moment. Even Chan didn't think the moment was real. He thought that maybe he had already passed away on his bed and his spirit was the one hugging Felix's spirit but the warm body within his arms told him otherwise.

The lithe waist he was hugging, the head of brown soft hair he was resting his chin on, the sweet scent of vanilla that filled his nostrils, the small hands stroking his back,

they were all telling him that the moment was very very real.

He wasn't dreaming nor was he dead.

It was truly Felix.

"Felix" he called again, still crying. "Felix y-you, you're-"

The door burst open and someone Chan never expected to come, walked inside. When the person saw the two people tightly hugging, his face went dark with anger and jealousy.

Taehyun's eyes instantly filled with tears. "H-How could you?" he stuttered, not believing what he was seeing. "I-I was just gone for a few days a-and you- you- fuck!"

Felix panicked and wanted to pull away but Chan didn't let him. How could he? He had spent five years wishing for this.

Felix didn't know who it was but from the tone of voice, he could deduce that the person was someone who had feelings for Chan. Maybe it was even that guy at the police station.

If only he knew just how right his guess was.

"Leave" Chan said to Taehyun. "I'll send Mingi to talk to you"

Felix was shocked at how Chan could just nonchalantly tell the person to leave. Clearly, there were things they need to discuss.

"I'm not going anywhere!" Taehyun shouted. "And I don't want to talk to Mingi. I want to talk to you!"

Chan was getting frustrated. His time with Felix was being stripped away. He wanted to say something when the person in his arms started to struggle violently.

"Let me go" Felix said, pushing Chan.

Chan looked down at Felix and saw that Felix was truly angry so he could only reluctantly release him. Still, his heart wasn't at ease so he tried to hold Felix's hand but Felix smacked it away.

"Felix..." Chan mumbled, stunned. He never expected Felix to resist his touch but then, he recalled what he did five years ago and understood that he needed to give Felix some space. He took out his phone and sent a quick text to Mingi to come and handle Taehyun. That way, he would have more time to speak with Felix.
