A horrible paralyzing chill crept up his spine and he desperately glanced around in fear but there was no escape route. It was a dead end. The only way to escape was through the way they came and he'd have to go through Chan if he wanted to leave. Which was impossible considering what he had just witnessed. He wanted to use Felix as a hostage but just the thought of touching Felix made his fingers ache.
He was trembling like a leaf pelted by rain. The boss did not warn them about such a man. If they knew, they would never had taken the job.
The man before him made him want to pee in his pants. He had never felt such fear in his life. The killing intent he sensed from the man was no joke. He had to think of something fast if he wanted to survive.Felix, who was watching Chan in both awe and shock, was suddenly pushed forward with so much force that he nearly fell but before his body kissed the floor, Chan threw away the metal rod, rushed and caught him gently in his arms.
Felix could count how many times he had been saved by Chan but he could say that this was the safest he had ever felt in his entire life. Within Chan's arms. He felt like nothing could ever harm him. He felt that it was where he belonged. His very own personal large cocoon built of muscles that seemed to scream the word 'safe'."
Chan's body which exuded a terrible chill before became inexplicably warm and relaxed. He steadied Felix on his feet and gently wrapped both arms protectively around that thin waist, pulling Felix closer to him. All the hostility, the rage, the murderous feeling in his heart melted away, leaving only relief and happiness.
Happiness that Felix was safe. With him. Exactly where he belonged.
"Chan..." Felix whispered, his voice shaky. "T-Th- T-They-"
"Shhh" Chan said calmly, stroking Felix's back. "I'm here. You're safe now. They can't touch you."
It didn't stop Felix from crying though. He had never been so terrified in his entire life. "Chaaaan" he sobbed, clinging to Chan like a baby as he let his tears out. He hugged him tight, as if he was afraid that Chan was just a beautiful dream and he would wake up to that nightmare with the two stinking men.
"Chan I was scared" he cried, burying his face in Chan's chest. "I-I was so scared"
Chan's suit soaked up all of his tears and snot and as much as Chan's heart hurt to hear Felix cry, he prefered it to be on his body, where he could soak in every single fluid.
Everything of Felix was his.
Felix cried for a while and when he finally calmed down, Chan took off his suit jacket and draped it around Felix's shaking shoulders. The scent of the ocean breeze and sandalwood surrounded him and it made his mood more stable as Chan led him out of the alley. He then remembered the other man. "T-The other one, he escaped?" he sniffled, rubbing his nose.
Chan shook his head and stroked Felix's hair. "Mingi must have caught him. Don't worry. He won't go unpunished." He took out a white handkerchief from his pocket and gently held Felix by the back of his head, stroking the soft skin then placed the handkerchief on his nose. "Blow"
Felix's eyes went wide and blinked up at Chan, with wet beautiful lashes, bewildered.
Chan saw this and his mouth went dry. Felix didn't realise that he was unintentionally seducing Chan. Hee frowned, as if to tell Chan that he wasn't a kid.
Chan chuckled and pulled him closer. "I know you can do it yourself but you're my baby. Why should I let you do it when I can do it for you? Come on, blow"
Felix went crimson and he shyly blew his nose which made Chan laugh. Felix was just too cute. After helping Felix blow his nose and wipe his tears, he stuffed the handkerchief back into his pocket, making Felix raise a brow in question but Chan pretended to not notice.
Felix thought back to the way Chan mercilessly beat up the unconcious man and he shivered. He didn't want to think of what was happening to the other. Maybe he was even lucky that it wasn't Chan who caught him. If not, he would also lose a hand.
Chan opened the back door for Felix and just when Felix was about to get in, he saw a metal rod raised high in the air, aiming for Felix's head. There was no time to push Felix out of the way. The bearded man was already too close. Chan didn't waste a single second and used his body to shield Felix from the deadly blow.
There was no way a hit like that wouldn't hurt. Felix felt the intensity through Chan's body and his chest tightened in pain. He didn't know what had happened. One second he was about to enter the car and the next, Chan's body was draped over him like a shield. By the time he turned around, Chan already had the bearded man flat on his back. He took the iron rod and whacked him on the head, rendering him unconscious once more.
At that moment, Mingi came back. He saw the state of the bearded man and clicked his tongue. "You really broke his hand"
"I did. Did you?" Chan asked, pushing Felix into the car.
"Both hands actually. You won't let me live peacefully if I didn't" he replied with a smile.
Satisfied, they both entered the car. Mingi sat in the driver's seat while Chan joined Felix in the back.
"Are you going to leave them there?" Felix asked, worried that their unconscious bodies might frighten people. Chan just snaked an arm around Felix and pulled him closer to his side.
"You don't need to worry your pretty little head over this. The police will take care of the rest" he replied with a contented smile. "They will never be able to molest anyone in their lives ever again"
He shared a look with Mingi through the mirror and Mingi nodded.
Those men will truly never be able to molest anyone again in this life.

"Where are we going?" Felix asked when he saw that they had passed three hospitals and they weren't going in the direction of the Park's villa either.
"My home" Chan replied, hoping Felix wouldn't be mad. He obviously didn't ask for his permission and it would be much easier to drop him with the Parks since that place was much closer to where they were than his house but he didn't want the night with Felix to end just yet. They still had a lot of thimgs to discuss.
