"So were you" Mingi said. "Your mission was different. You were to befriend him, make him trust you and get the information needed but you fell in love with him and when Mr Yoongi started to suspect your relationship with Felix, I should have denied it. I should have told him that he had nothing to worry about then maybe he wouldn't have come up with that cruel plan"

"But that would have jeopardised the mission" Chan stated. "It wouldn't have gotten justice for Aera nor my parents. If things had gone on longer, I wouldn't have been able to obey Father. I would have betrayed him. How can I repay my benefactor with betrayal? I don't blame you Mingi. I don't like what I did but I'm glad you didn't hide it from Father. I did right by him. I've repaid him with my total loyalty and treated him with utmost devotion. I've given him all of me. That chapter is closed. I owe him nothing. Now, I have to do right by Felix. I have to figure out a way to make it up to him"

"You'll figure it out Chris" Mingi said, giving him a reassuring smile."You always do"

But Chan wasn't that confident.  His biggest fear was loosing Felix. And he hadn't even fully caught him but Taehyun just had to visit him in the office and ruin everything.

"I need another drink" was all he said. "Just one glass Mingi. At least let me forget even if it's for a little while"

Before Mingi could answer, they heard the soft alarm of the house security system. It meant that they had visitors.

"Visitors? At this time of the night?" Mingi said, surprised.

"It has to be something important" he replied, staring at the wall clock. "It's almost midnight. Go check it out and be careful"

Mingi nodded then left. Chan placed his hand on the armrest, using it to haul his body off the couch. His vision swam when he stood and he stumbled a bit but quickly steadied himself. He felt drowsy and sick.

"Fuck I really need another drink" he murmured to himself as he walked into the kitchen and opened the wine cellar. His eyes swept over the arranged bottles and he was thinking of picking the strongest one when he heard someone shouting his name.

"Chris! Chris get out here!"

Well it was more like roaring. The noise gave him a headache and he groaned as he made his way back to the living room, wondering who it could be.

"Chris! Come out damn it! Come out and face me!"

"What the hell is your problem?" Chan heard Mingi say. "You can't just barge in here and start screaming. Can't you see what time it is?"

"I will do whatever the fuck I want to do!" the person shouted. "And I will do worse if Chris doesn't bring him out!"

"Bring who out?" Chan asked as he slowly walked in. "What are you talking about?"

"You!" Seonghwa spat, pointing at Chan. "You vile being!" He rushed towards Chan and landed a hard punch to his jaw.

Chan's head whipped to the side due to the force and his body went back a step. It hurt but the pain woke him up from his muddled self pity party. He raised his head, dark eyes exceptionally clear, staring straight at a furious Seonghwa.

"I ought to beat you to a pulp!" Seonghwa seethed with anger. The always neat looking Seonghwa was dressed in a pair of rough blue pyjamas. His chestnut brown hair was tousled like a bird's nest and he was sweating all over, breathing heavily.

He grabbed the collar of Chan's black shirt and shook him, though he could barely move Chan. "Where is he?" he asked. "Bring him out right now! You're a beast Chris. A greedy beast! You were given an inch and now you want a mile. Can't you take things slow for once? Were you that eager to bed Felix? Bring him out. I'm taking him back!"

Chan was confused and irritated. He didn't like the way Seonghwa was yelling in his face. "What are you even talking about? I have done nothing of that sort to Felix"

The highest they've gone was kissing and that one time hand job in the locker room of that sports club.

"You liar!" Seonghwa yelled. "Felix isn't at home. I'm sure he's here. You're hiding him aren't you? Felix come out!"

"No I'm not!" Chan growled, pushing Seonghwa back. "Felix is not here. And what if he was? We're already dating"

"Dating my foot! He just can't remember anything. If he could, you wouldn't even have the face to say such words. Now bring him out"

Chan groaned, annoyed. "I told you that Felix isn't here. Have you asked Changbin and Hyunjin?"

Seonghwa gazed at Chan intently then realised Chan had no reason to lie to him. It then dawned on his that Felix was truly missing. He went pale as he released Chan. "Felix is not with them. He's not at home and he's not here. Does this mean..."

Mingi gasped. "He's missing"

Chan's heart sunk to his stomach and he gritted his teeth in anger. It was all his fault. He shouldn't have let Felix leave his company like that. "Fuck" he cursed. "Mingi, gather all our men. Spread out and search for him. Now!"

Mingi didn't waste a single second. He took out his phone and began to contact them.

"What about you?" Seonghwa asked  glaring at Chan.

Chan quickly grabbed his car keys and found a pair of slippers behind the living room door. "I'm going to find him"

Felix stared at the familiar house in awe. This was were he grew up. The home he had always lived in. It didn't change one bit. It looked just as it had always done.

Towering, intimidating, wide black gates with their insignia in the middle. A large beautifully custumized 'L'.

Beyond the huge gates were large trees and a long road that led to the mansion sitting far away. When one is close to the gates, the mansion can't be seen but if one should take some steps back, the mansion will be visible. As if sitting atop a hill.

Felix was standing far away, staring at the mansion that seemed small because of the distance. But he knew very well how large the building was. How cold and empty it felt when he was inside alone. How lively it became when his friends stayed over. How warm and homely it felt when his parents came back.

And how wonderful and magical it felt when Chan was around.

It felt like a true home. A safe haven.
