Chapter 12 - Alli's powers

A week had passed, and at that very moment, the kids were having fun in the water, while Leia and Gracy were sitting under a tree shadow, watching over the kids.

"Iris, Ken, Luna please watch over the small kids," Leia asked the older kids

"Don't worry mother." Iris said smiling at her twin brothers who were kicking their feet at the water laughing.

Gracy looked at her friend, holding a sleeping Zena on her arms.

"Are you okay?"

Leia looked at her and nod

"Yes, I mean I just have a lot to think lately," Leia said looking at the kids. "Padmé get out of that rock, you can slip and fall" she told her 3 years old niece.

"Let me guess still have that mysterious woman on your head. Ines told that you and Luke think it is your biological mother."

Leia looked back at Gracy.

"Luke think she is, and I do too, even if we are not sure."

"There is something I don't understand. If it is your mother, where was she all this time and why now?"

"That is exactly what me and Luke wonder. If it is her, I have some questions to make."

"I sense Luke would accept her way more easily than you."

"She abandoned me and my twin brother. Lied to everyone by pretending she was dead. And even when the Empire was gone, she continue to make us all believing she was dead. She was not around when her grandchildren born. She was not around when Luke almost lost Ines on their public wedding day, when I lost my first baby and not around when Ben and the twins were born. And she waited now to show up? Now she remembered she was alive and have parents, sister and nieces who mourned her and still think she is dead, and that she has two kids who she just gave up. So yeah Gracy, if she thinks I will opened my arms towards her just like that, she is so damn wrong."

Gracy sighed. In a way she understood Leia's point of view. If she was in her situation, she would act the same way for sure.

"But if she wants to be around you right now, will you stop seeing her grandchildren. They don't have any grandparents alive and kids need grandparents."

"I know and no I will not stop her for seeing my children. And I'm sure Luke would forgive her quicker than me for sure." She said rolling her eyes.

"And can you blame him. He didn't have a mother like you. You have parents who loved you since you were a baby. Luke had an aunt who loved him, but she was not his mother. So you have to understand his point of view. But I'm sure he would have the same questions, he simple will listen her explanations and then understand. After all he is the one who saw good in Darth Vader and brought him back to the light. He has a heart of gold." Gracy said making Leia nod.

"That is why I accepted him as my brother faster than Anakin as my father."

"But now you forgave your father too and that felt good, right?"

"Yes it did and I love seeing the interaction between him and the kids every time he shows up," Leia smiled at that memory.

Then they heard a scream and then a cry.

Leia and Gracy looked at each other when Bail came running.

"Mama, mama Pamé faw," he said pointing to the spot where Padmé was.

"Shit!" Leia said and ran right away towards her niece, with Gracy behind her holding Zena who was starting to waking up.

"What happened?" she asked and ran to the little girl who was crying. Standing her up, she saw a little wound on her forehead where she probably hit on the floor. "I told you to watch them."
