Chapter 92 - Grandfather Talk

Luke woke up in the middle of the night. It was still dark outside and he could hear the sound of the rain falling.

Laying back is head on the pillow, he looked at the time and indeed was still very early, around 2 am.

Feeling Ines moving next to him, he looked to his right and smile when he saw her sleeping form. He couldn't imagine what she felt when he didn't remember her or their kids, but she never gave up on him and continue to love him no matter what.

Standing up slowly out of bed, he decided to check their kids before get a glass of water in the kitchen.

Entering in the bedroom he smiled when R2 "looked" at him

"It is just me R2." he said tapping the little droid.

Approaching the crib, he ran his hand on his son head who was sleeping sucking his pacifier. At 4 months and half, Luke already slept all night, but he knew that in 4 hours he would wake up for his meal.

Looking at his right, he couldn't help but chuckle when he saw one of his little girls, with her arms above her head, sleeping and the cover reaching her waist.

Pulling the covers up, he kissed her forehead.

He couldn't imagine what she felt when he didn't even remember her. How could he forget the people he loved the most: his wife and kids?

Leaving the bedroom he head to the kitchen. The rain was still falling outside.

Grabbing a cup from the cabinet he was preparing to get water when he heard someone behind him. Turning around he sighed in relieve when he saw his grandfather in his sleeping robes.

"Couldn't sleep?" Ruwee asked his grandson

"Just woke up and decided to have a glass of water after I checked the kids." he respond. "Sorry if I wake you up!"

"You didn't. I actually came to have a drink too." he said grabbing a glass of water too. Sitting by the kitchen table, Ruwee looked at the window. "It will rain all night for sure"

Luke looked out the window and nod

"It looks like." he said and sat down next to his grandfather.

"Is everything alright?"

Luke looked at him.

"Yes, is just I was thinking about what happened in these last weeks, you know with my memory lost and what I made Ines going through, especially with our kids. And then with Alli being sick because of that. I felt it was all my fault"

"Don't say that. It was not your fault." Ruwee said. "Besides everything went well in the end. Your memory is back and you remember everything and Alli is okay now"

"I know but what if I never had remembered anything?"

"I'm sure eventually you would remember everything. And you know why I say this?"

Luke shook his head

"Because you and Ines were made for each other. And I was sure that no matter what happened, in the end you two would be together. The moment I saw you two for the first time, almost 6 years ago, and saw how you two acted around each other, I knew that nothing would separate you two"

Luke smiled at that.

"Actually I had to say, the time we spend together back at Dagobah, made me know Ines more and I was falling in love with her again. And the kids, I didn't know why but I already was loving those kids. When I left Coruscant and was alone, I couldn't stop thinking of them and missed them like crazy"

"See. Your love is stronger than you imagine"

"I know. I just miss my other two kids and can't wait to be with them again." he said.

"You will." Ruwee said and after a while he asked. "Do you think we will go to war again?"

"I don't know. For now, we are in advantage but they are gather allies for sure"

"And what about you? Will you also find allies too?"

Luke looked at him

"Maybe that is not a bad idea either." he said thinking bout.

Looking at the time, he looked at his grandfather.

"I think it is time to get back to bed." he said. "Goodnight"

"Goodnight Luke." Ruwee said.

Luke entered inside his bedroom. The moment he got under the covers, he felt an arm wrapping around his torso

"Where were you?" Ines said as Luke rolled on his left side and pulled her closer to him.

"You're awake?" he giggled

"I woke up a while ago and I tried to reach your side of the bed and I found it empty. Are the kids okay?"

"Yes they are, don't worried." he smiled kissing her on the lips. "I just went for a glass of water and I spent a few time talking with my grandfather"

"Is everything okay?" she asked him

"Yes, everything is fine. It just feel nice to be like this with you in a comfortable bed again." he said giggling.

"I thought I would never be like this too"

"And you know what I miss too." he smirked and started to kiss her neck making her giggle

"Luke, it is 2 in the morning."

"So, since when there is a time to make love with my amazing wife." he said and pulling her even closer to him he kissed her deeply, moaning when he felt her left hand running down his naked back.

Then they heard the door opened and sleepy voice calling

"Papa! Mama!"

Holding a laugh, both pulled apart and looked at the door and saw one of their sweet twins, standing there, rubbing her eyes.

"Sweetie what is it?" Ines asked her

"I want water." she asked making Luke looked at her and smile

"Okay, Papa will go with you and give you water." he said getting out of bed and picking her up he looked at her. "But then you go back to bed okay"

"Okay." she said nodding

Looking at Ines, she smiled when she heard his voice in her head

"Please don't fall asleep, we are not done yet"

"I wont." she replied the same and smiled when she saw two of the most important people in her life and happy that everything was back like it was before and she had her husband back again.

Alli really like to interrupt her parents in the worst time haha
