Chapter 39 - Special Birthday

Weeks had pass. So far everything was quiet and calm, which by experience that meant something big was coming up.

At that moment, Luke and Ines were on their bed, with their back resting on the bed's headboard. Luke was rubbing Ines 9 months belly, while she had her eyes close, taking deep breaths.

"Another contraction?" he asked.

Nodding, she continue to take deep breaths, until the contraction was gone.

She started to have contractions, in the middle of the night. Calling her doctor, he said that they could stay at home, until her water broke. When that happened, then they should go to the hospital.

Opening her eyes, she looked at him.

"Sorry if I'm ruining the plans for yours and Leia's birthday," she told him, making Luke smiled at her.

"Ruining? Babe, you are about to give me the best birthday present I could ever wanted. You just made it better. Don't worried about the party, we can have a family meal some other time. Now all that matters is you and our baby that is about to born."

"You know the kids will want to eat soon," she said.

Before Luke could say anything, the kids came inside the bedroom, with R2 right behind them.

Climbing on the bed, they all hugged Luke.

"Happy Birthday daddy," Ben said.

"Happy Biwthday Papa," the twins also said.

"Thank you," he smiled pulling his 3 kids towards him and kissed all of them.

Even Grogu wish him a Happy Birthday, making them smiled at him.

"Hewe," Alli said, giving him a drawing that she and her twin did.

"Aww thank you sweeties." he said smiling at it.

"It Papa, Mama, Ben, Me and Awi, Gogu and Wuke is inside mama," Padmé explained to her father the different people that were in the drawing.

"It is beautiful," Ines smiled at it.

"I made this daddy," Ben gave him a small package.

Opening it, it was a type of sculpture with his left hand printing it and said Ben.

"Thank you son," he said smiling at the boy. "I will put on my desk back in the temple, where I can look at it and see how talent my son is."

"Awe having a pawty?" Alli asked him.

"Well sweetie, that was the plan, but guess what, your baby brother decided to come out today too," Luke said.

"Mommy is going have Luke today?" Ben asked gasping.

"Yes, sweetie. Today you will all meet your baby brother," Ines answered him.

"Can I howd him?" Padmé asked.

"When he is born, yes, but only when Mama bring the baby back home okay?" Luke asked, smiling when the little girl nod.

Reaching her mother's belly Alli spoke to it.

"Come out wight now Wuke, I want to howd you."

Ines and Luke couldn't help to laughed at that.

"It will take a while sweetie," Luke said. "But first, lets make you breakfast," he said and looking at Ines he said. "Do you want something my love?"

"No. I will stay here for a while."

"Okay. I will come to help you okay?" he said and kissing her, he left the bedroom with all the kids towards the kitchen.
