Chapter 79 - Planning

After Luke, Han and Ahsoka changing clothes and all of them, including Chewie had dry themselves, they all gather with the rest of the group in the hangar where they were watching the small kids playing around with the Iris, Cindel and Ken also playing with them.

The moment Grogu saw R2, the child walked towards him and climbing on top of the droid, he laughed when R2 started to rolled around the hangar changing the Twins and Zena, being followed by a screaming 3PO who kept saying to this little friend to wait for him.

"So I heard you had a big trouble and went for a swim?" Noa said, making Luke nod and giggled when Alli ran towards him laughing.

Picking his daughter, he kissed her cheek.

"Look at you all sweaty because of the running." he laughed.

"You wet too." she said touching his wet hair.

"Papa, aunt Ahsoka and Uncles Han and Chewie decided to go for a swim." he giggled making the little girl giggled too.

"Come Awi!" Anakin called her cousin and putting his daughter down, he shook his head when the little girl ran towards her twin and her cousins screaming.

"I wish I had that energy, but after today I realize I'm getting old." Han said looking at his brother in law.

"So, next stop is Jedha. I heard a lot bout it before." Amidala said. "Most of the kyber crystals came from there. There are caves and caves of it."

"That's right. But the Empire wipe all of them as far as I know." Ahsoka said

"Well not everyone apparently." Ines said looking at her friend.

Gracy came with Zena in her arms, the 2 years old raising her arms towards her father.

"Papa." she said making Dan picked her up and kissed her cheek

"But I thought Jedha was destroyed by the Death Star?" Gracy said smiling at her daughter who started sucking her thumb and rest her head on her father's shoulder, tired from playing around.

"Only the city was destroyed. Just like Scarif. It wasn't the whole moon." Ines said

"Actually, after the Battle of Yavin we went there to try to convince the survivors to join the Alliance." Leia said

"Any success on that?" Dan asked her

"Some of them joined us, others didn't want to get involve." Leia replied back.

Baby Luke, who was on his mother's arm sucking his green pacifier, point his little right index finger to his right cousin Zena, who smiled at him and leaning forward and kissing his cheek making the baby smile and babble at her.

"Your cousin gave you a kiss sweetie." Ines smiled at her baby.

"So when do we leave?" Noa asked them.

"Sooner the better." Luke said running his right hand on his son's head. 

"But how we going to find that crystal? We have the location but if it only show itself to the true ruler of the galaxy, who do we know it will show to us?" Amidala asked her twins.

Luke looked at the small kids running around the hangar playing around and looked at his wife, who looking at him, she knew exactly what he was thinking.

"Do you think it is safe?" she asked him.

"We have too. At least we will be certain for sure." he said.

"What are you talking about?" Dan asked his younger sister.

Looking at them, Ines and Luke decided it was time to tell them about the vision Luke had a week after Ben was born, back in Varykino.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner." he said looking at Leia and Han. "But it was something I decided to keep to myself. I only told Ines because of obvious reasons."

"Now I know why Master Yoda told you about the twins." Leia said nodding.

"Are you telling me that Alli is the one that it is being written all of this time?" Ahsoka said making Luke look at her

"What do you mean?"

"We all heard, for any years, that in time to come a Jedi will rule the galaxy and keep it safe from the Sith, while prosperity and safety will be surrounding the whole galaxy forever. With time, this story was taking now as a myth since the time came and went and that Ruler never came. Now I know why?"

"So we need to take the girls with us." Han said making Ines sighed.

She didn't like the idea but she knew they had to do that, but deep inside there was something that was bothering her about that mission.

Later that night, while they were sleeping in their dormitories, Ines kept tossing around in her bed. Somehow she couldn't sleep and she couldn't know why.

Sitting in bed, she looked to her right to the sleeping form of her husband, and getting out of her bed, she pick up her robe and checking her baby in his crib, she left the room, deciding for a walk.

Checking her son and twins too, she decided to make a walk around the base, entering in the long room where Leia gave the medals to Luke, Han and Chewie after the Battle of Yavin.

Sitting on the steps she smiled remembering Luke, Han and Chewie walking down the long corridor towards them.

Luke looked so handsome with his yellow jacket that he still had today, and somehow Alli loved not only the jacket but also the medal that she still had and took with her everywhere they left Coruscant.

"Couldn't sleep?" she heard and smiled as she saw her husband, that sat next to her and wrapping his left arm around her shoulders he pulled her towards him and kissed the top of her head.

"I couldn't"

"Worried about going to Jedha and the idea of taking the girls with us?"

Ines looked at him.

"Yes but it is something else I can't explain. I just have a fear to lose you if we go there."

"Lose me?" Luke asked. "Babe, you will not going to lose me. We will be together and Ahsoka, Han and Chewie will be with us all the time to make sure nothing happens to the girls."

"Is not losing you physically. It is something else I can't explain." she said. "Maybe is the mother instinct talking, I don't know. It sounds crazy I know."

"Hey, it is okay. They are my babies too and if something happens to them or to all of you I will go crazy. But let's trust the force and believe nothing will happen."

"Okay, just be careful"

"I will." he said smiling and kissed her gently at first, but little by little he deepened the kiss like it was something he needed all of the sudden. Pulling apart he looked at her "How about we going back?"

"For sleep?" she asked with a smirked on her face.

"Maybe!" he winked at her and kissing her one more time, they went to their bedroom, hoping the journey to Jedha would be a success so they go back to Coruscant safe and sound.
