Luke was on his X-Wing with R2 in its place. He had left for a dew days and of course he missed his wife and children already, especially with Ines expecting for the last time.
R2 beeped and Luke looked at the little translator.
"Yes R2, we are almost there," he said.
Coming out of the lightspeed, he saw Tython. Reading the translator again, Luke nod.
"Yes, there is Tython." he said. "I don't sense any technology there but I sense a big connection with the force, that's for sure."
The X-Wing entered the atmosphere and a few minutes later it land safely on the ground. Taking his helmet off and his flight suit, Luke came out of the cockpit. Looking around, as he put his black glove on his right hand, like he always did as a protection.
R2 came out of his place and beeped at him.
"I know, R2. I see nobody in here. Whoever was here is gone. But we need to look around and try to find something," he said and he started to walked around the place.
Looking up he saw the ancient ruins of the Jedi Temple and he knew it was there he felt and saw the little creature call out.
"We need to get up there!" he told to R2.
Walking up the place, he stopped when he stopped at the sight what it looked like ashes. Something exploded here. R2 beeped, making him turned back at it.
"Something was here and was destroyed. It looks like it was a ship," he said looking around. "The questions is why?"
Walking a little more, what he saw made him gasped. Even R2 beeped in shock. All over the place were dead stormstroopers. Some of them were really in bad shape, with broken skulls, and legs, others had some hole in the chest like they were pierced with some kind of pointing object, others were clearly shot.
"A big fight happened here and it didn't went well for the Storm Troopers. The Empire was here and I guess we know who cause the explosion down there, R2."
The droid beeped again.
"Let's keep going!"
Continuing to climb up the mountain, Luke finally reached the top. Yes it was here that he was able to feel the little creature calling out and definitively someone was here and it was gone now, and by the carnage down there, he had a guess about what happened and why the Empire was there, and that only meant one thing: They got what they want, the kid.
R2 beeped and Luke had an idea of what his little droid friend was saying.
"I have a feeling who got the kid R2. But the questions is where is he now?"
R2 beeped again. Luke looked around once again with his hands on his hips.
"I think it is time to ask Ines for her help to find Gideon's ship," he said giggled when R2 beeped again.
