Chapter 89 - Married Again

Ines was near the swamp looking around, holding her baby on her arms, who was starting to calm down a little, after being crying for a while. His little eyes still filled with tears, while his mother was still rocking, resting her right cheek on his little left one.

Luke approached them and kissed his baby on right one, while the little one looked at his father.

"I see you are more calm now baby." he said smiling

"Sometimes he only wants to be held, right sweetie?" she said looking at the 4 months old baby. "Just like his father." she giggled at Luke.

"Very funny." he said kissing her.

Alli came jumping around, followed by R2, who grabbed her blouse once she got near the water and beeped at her, making the little girl turn to him.

"Atoo."

Luke looked at the scene and smiled.

"R2 is only being careful." he said picking up his daughter.

"Why?" she asked him

"Well because there is a big creature in those waters that swallow R2 when we came here way before you and your sister were born."

Alli gasped with her eyes wide and looked at R2

"Poor Atoo."

The little droid beeped, indicating that he remembered that moment.

"How did that happen?" Ines said

"Well lets say when we came here from Hoth, the landing didn't went so well and we fall on the swamp."

"Weally!" Alli giggled at that.

"Now we laugh about it but at the time it wasn't funny at all. I couldn't get the ship out, meaning I would be stay here for who knew how long. And I bet you weren't happy to found out that either, because we just started dating and it meant I would be here longer than expected." he said with a smirked on his face which made Ines shake her head at her husband.

"But you got out. You were able to go the Bespin."

"Well I can thank that to Master Yoda." he said smiling sadly when he mention the name of his old mentor.

Ines looked at her husband and knew what he was feeling.

"You miss him."

"Yes. He put me through hell during those 3 weeks, but I learned a lot with him." he said and looked back at her. "I wish you could have met him"

"Me too." she said. "I can't imagine living here for more than two decades, all alone, in this sad planet."

"I know, but he was always watching me as he said when we met." Luke replied.

After a minute of silence, Ines asked him what she had in mind for a while now.

"Babe, do you think they already found out we have the crystal?"

Luke had thought of that too for a while now, but before he could answered him, the answered came from someone else.

"Not yet but he will soon and he will not be happy when that happens."

Looking towards the voice came, they saw the Force Ghost of Anakin Skywalker, coming in their direction.

"Gandpa!" Alli said smiling when she saw him.

"Hello my beautiful Alli." Anakin said smiling at his granddaughter and looked back at Ines who had little Luke on her arms. "Hello my sweet little Luke."

The baby looked at his grandfather and smiled at him.

"So he doesn't know yet. But what happens when he finds out?" Luke asked his father.

"Thrawn will know right away that it was you guys that took the crystal. What he will not know is to whom the Crystal respond."

"So he will not know it belongs to Alli." Ines said making Anakin nod. "But what happens if he finds out?"

Anakin looked at his daughter in law.

"I think you already know the answer my dear."

"That is not going to happen. He will not get any closer to my daughter." Luke said.

"Well we will not let that happen. But you need to be careful. You in a way defeat him by getting the crystal first them him. So you are ahead this time. But it is not over. He will not stop until he get what he wants."

"So what do we do?"

"Don't let your guards out. For now, he will retreat himself, but only to gain more strength more allies, so when he returns he will be more powerful. You can win, if you stay together. You win the first round and that is good."

Luke and Ines looked at each other while Anakin continue.

"If he finds out who is the true ruler of the galaxy, he will do anything to have it, so he will do anything to take Alli to himself."

"I would like to see him try." Ines said.

"Continue to train more Jedi. Ahsoka is a good ally and soon her friend Ezra will join you too. You are going in the right track" he said. "For now enjoy your first win"

Anakin was about to leave when Luke called him.

"Wait. We will leave Dagobah tomorrow and I want to do something before we leave."

Ines looked at Luke.

"What do you mean?"

Putting Alli down, he walked towards her.

"I lost my memory and now I got it back and it felt like I was born again. And I want to show you how much you mean to me and how much I love you and our kids." he started. "So, father, can you renew our vows, here, right now?"

"What?"

"Will you marry me, again?"

Ines smile at him and nod.

"Of course I will Luke." she replied.

"Will you do it?" Luke asked looked at his father.

"Of course I will," Anakin said.

"A pleasure will be." they heard and looking behind Anakin they saw Master Yoda, Ben and another force ghost they didn't see before.

"Papa, he is like Gogu." Alli said when she saw Yoda.

"Yes he is sweetie."

"It will be a pleasure to renew your vows again." Ben said smiling at the two of them.

"Hello Ben." Ines smile and looked at the ghost by his side she gasped when she recognize the face. She saw it on archives. "You are Qui Gon Jinn. Ben's old Master."

"It is a pleasure to finally meet you two in person. From a certain point of view." he said making Ines and Luke smile.

"It is great to meet you too." Luke said.

"And I'm happy to finally meet you Master Yoda." Ines said to the old Master

"Happy I am to meet you." he said, and looking at Luke. "Ready you are?"

"Always."

"Then let's marry you too, again." Ben said smiling, and with the presence of the 4 Master and on of their twins and they youngest son, Luke and Ines renew their vows in Dagobah.

So Thrawn doesn't know who took the Crystal and Ezra will join them soon. And Luke and Ines renew their vows and Qui Gon Jinn appeared for the first time.
