Chapter 87 - Welcome Back

It has being 2 days since Ines had arrive in Dagobah with Alli and baby Luke, trying to make her daughter better, and maybe making the fever go away.

For the past days Alli had being sick, with fever that simply didn't go away, and after taking her to the Senate Hospital, Ines knew that what Alli was having was a case of missing Luke. She had that since she was a little baby.

Because of that, and going against the opinion of their pediatrician, she grabbed her sick child and her 4 months old baby and flew to Dagobah. She knew if Alli was near her father, maybe the fever would go away.

In fact 24 hours later, Alli felt much better and since that morning she was fully recovered. Once again she only needed was to be near her father.

Right now, she was with her mother, in their ship, taking a shower. Being a swamp planet and the fact that Master Yoda's old hut didn't have the conditions for a nice bath, they use the facilities of their royal ship to take showers. Even Luke used it, although they still slept inside the hut.

While Ines was with Alli, Luke was outside, holding little Luke, who was still very awake, even after having his stomach full with his mother delicious milk.

Luke didn't have his full memory yet, especially the part of the relationship with Ines and their kids, but he already remember her and the day they met. But he wanted to remember more. He wanted to remember their kids, the kids he already was loving already and he knew they would be so sad if he never remembered them, even if he stay with them because he already couldn't see himself without be near Ines.

These two days, he had learn more about her, and how amazing she was and he knew he was starting to have feelings for her.

His baby son, babble with his deep blue eyes fixed on R2 who was rolling around beeping. He loved R2 and giggled every time the droid beeped.

"You like R2, don't you? But let's be fair, who doesn't like our little droid friend." he laughed, especially when the baby looked at him and babble, pressing his little hands on his cheeks.

Kissing his forehead, he pulled the baby closer to him, making his son pressing his little cheek on his, while he fixed his eyes in the big X-Wing, making Luke walked towards it.

"You like the X-Wing don't you?" he asked looking at the baby, who looked at him and smiling at his father he babble. "Yes you do."

The baby looked at him and then babble again, making Luke nod.

"Okay, okay I already know you want to fly my X-Wing young man. We already had this conversation." he said while the baby babble again at his father. "I know, dada will teach you how to fly it. You already know that. I promised you back in Yavin 4, okay." he said and right after he finished the sentence, Luke face got serious, while his baby son smile at him and babble.

"I remember that. I remember our conversation back in Yavin 4." he said and then he gasped. He remembered everything. He remember why they went to Yavin 4. He remember going to Jedha, entered inside the cave and find the golden Kyber Crystal and he remembered trying to grabbed it and being push away and hit the other wall and his head.

But most important, he remembered his life. He remembered his wife, his kids. Looking back at his son, he smiled while tears started rolling down his cheek.

"Hey sweetie. Hey. Yes I remember you. I remember how much mama and dada wanted you and how scare we were when you born. My sweet Luke."

The baby babble and smiled

"Yes I love you too. I love your siblings and..." Luke stopped and looked at the ship. "My sweet wife. I remember your mother. How about we make a surprise to her" he said winking at the baby.

R2 beeped and Luke looked at it

"Yes R2, I'm back." he said laughing when the baby made one of his high babbles.

Walking towards the ship, Luke entered and went inside and found Ines, combing Alli's hair, the little holding her two stuffed toys that represent her parents.

Looking at Luke, Ines smiled at him

"Hey." she said

Luke came near her and looked at Alli who smiled at her father.

"Hi Papa!"

Luke ran his right hand on her wet blonde hair and looking back at Ines, he asked her

"Did she take it?"

Ines frown at that.

"What are you talking about?"

"The crystal. It had a defensive way that only the true ruler could grab it. I knew the moment I tried to grab it and he push me away. So did she grab it?"

"Yes she did"

"Where is it?" he asked

Opening a small compartment, she show a small box in a pendant

"We take with us wherever we go." she said and opening it, the golden light came out.

"I knew it," Luke said smiling at his daughter.

Ines looked at Luke

"But how do you know this?" she asked and then all of the sudden, she gasped while Luke looked at her and smiled, "You remember."

Luke nod

"Yes I do"

"You got your memory back?" she asked with tears in her eyes

"I remember everything babe. And when I say everything, I mean everything. Even how much I love you and how much I want to do this." and before Ines could asked what, he wrapped his right arm around her waist and pulled her into a deep kiss, making Alli giggled and little Luke looked at his parents and pressed his hand on their faces, making them pulled apart and smile at him.

"You do remember. Welcome back my love," she said smiling

"It is good to be back." he said "I love you so much," and looking at Alli he smiled. "And I love you too"

"Papa's back?" the little girl asked looking at him and then to her mother

"Yes sweetie, Papa is back," Ines said.

Finally her family was back together as it should be.

Luke got his memory back, finally. What do you think of that?
