Chapter 83 - Back in Dagobah

In Dagobah:

Luke opened his eyes and looking around he sighed. Since he arrived in Dagobah 3 days ago, that he spent his time meditating, letting the force guide you and also doing some of the lessons Master Yoda taught him when he was there years ago.

Since he had being there, he left more calm, less stressed and it helped a lot.

R2 beeped next to him and he smiled at his friend.

"Yes R2, I'm done for today." he said and standing up he head to the little hut that once belonged to Master Yoda.

It was small but with some cleaning, it was a good place to protect them from the rain that lately had fall over Dagobah.

That place had some emotional connection to him. Since he arrived he remember Master Yoda death and that he was the one who told him about the fact there was another Skywalker. He didn't have any memory of that moment before. Which it made Luke please since it showed him that he continue to remembered stuff little by little.

R2 beeped again and Luke smirked as he looked to the small translation device on his wrist again.

"I know you miss life in Coruscant. After all you don't have good memories from this place, right?" he laughed a little.

The first time he had being there, the landing didn't went the way he wanted, so of course his little droid friend missed Coruscant.

"To be honest I missed Coruscant too. More than I thought I would." he said tapping R2.

It was true, he missed Coruscant too, but for some reason that he didn't know how to explain and why, he missed the kids and Ines didn't came out of his mind since he had being there.

Why I feel this? He thought.

"That is because your subconscious know how much you two loved each other." he heard someone and looking behind him he gasped when he saw his old mentor

"Obi Wan." he called him walking towards the old man. "Does that mean I'm remembering things?" he asked after a while.

"If you continue to trust the force and be relax like you are right now, yes you will. Just trust the force and your instincts too, Luke."

Luke nod.

"I just feel bad for them. When I was there I felt I was forced to do this thing I didn't know. Now that I'm here and I'm not with them, I kind of miss them."

Obi Wan nod at him.

"You and Ines were meant to be together, even before you were born. You will find out that, Luke."

"I felt bad because I could sense her pain and sadness, and even the kids feelings. It was so overwhelming to feel this for people I don't remember and for me I never thought in my life" he sighed and looked down.

"Of course you would feel like that. They understand that, especially Ines. That is why she accepted that you came here to be alone, without her. But I also sense you are afraid of remembering her."

Luke looked at Ben.

"It is not afraid, so to speak. Is just, what if when I remember her and the kids I see I was not always a good husband ad father?"

Ben shook his head. He knew something was bothering Luke and kept certain memories, especially the ones with Ines and kids away.

"You don't have to fear that. You are an amazing husband and father. The kids adore you. And Ines loves you since the they you two met. And so did you."

Luke smiled at that. He really want to remember. He want his life back and he wanted to get back soon to the kids and even if right now he didn't want to admit to himself, he wanted to be near Ines and he didn't knew why he wanted that, but he knew he did.

In Coruscant:

Ines was in the living room, sitting by the couch, trying to see the schedules for the next season in the Academy, hoping Luke would be there by that time.

She missed him so much and she just hope and asked the force to help him to recover and get his memory back.

She didn't know what to do if he would never get his full memory back. She would have her heart broken, not only because she would had lost the man she loved the most, but because she knew their kids would be so devastated by that.

They already showing how much they missed their father.

Sighing and trying everything not to cry again, she looked back to the datapad she had on her hands, when Ben came from his bedroom and sat next to her.

"Hey sweetie, what are you doing still awake?" she asked running her right fingers through his wavy brown hair.

"I couldn't sleep." the 5 years old kid said.

She knew her son too well to know something was bothering him.

Putting the datapad away, she looked at her son.

"What is it baby. Tell me."

Ben looked at his mother with his blue eyes, just like his father's.

"Will daddy ever coming back?"

"Are you asking from Dagobah or coming back as getting his memory back?" she asked him.

"Both."

Sighing, Ines looked at him.

"Well he will come back from Dagobah, that I know because he promised and when your father promise something, he will do it. But as far as the memory part, I don't know sweetie. I hope so. I really hope so he will get back."

"What if he doesn't? What if he never remember us?" he asked with his eyes starting to get filled with tears.

"Hey, don't ever say something like that. He will come back to us. Just trust the force. If your godfather told him to go to Dagobah, it was for a reason. Just we need to have faith and never lose hope." she said pulling her son, she did everything not to cry, because her kids need their mother, now more than ever.

Then Grogu came with Padmé, and the moment she saw them, she knew something was not alright.

"Padmé, Grogu!"

"Mama, Awi," the little girl said.

Gasping, Ines stood up and ran towards her girls bedroom and reaching Alli, she gasped when she touched her daughter's forehead.

"She is burning up." she said.

Her biggest fear just started. Her daughter was having a reaction for being away from her father.

Ben appeared to Luke and Luke's memory is slowly coming back. Now Alli has this fever. What do you think Ines will do?
