Chapter 46 - Training

Weeks had passed since they got the information.

They all decided that they would try as much as they could continue with their lives, like they didn't know anything, but deep inside they had their eyes opened, watching closely every person that stare more than a few seconds at them. Anyone could the Empire spy.

They decided to inform Dex. He was a great help before, and having a Diner where a lot of people liked to go to have a nice meal, he could see something suspicious.

Of course he agreed right away to be careful and if he saw someone acting weir, he would inform them right away.

So far everything was, normal. The last days of training was arriving, and with that the graduation of the first students, with the exception of Ken and Grogu.

Everyone was excited to finally being officially Jedi Knights.

After the summer vacations new students would arrive, at least 8 more, that Luke had found not only in the institutions where Iris was for a few days, but also some of his students found in their home planets.

Little by little the Jedi were returning to the galaxy.

It was after the kids training, and while the students went out for dinner with Ahsoka and Aurea, to celebrate the last few days as Padawan's, Luke decided to stay in the temple, because the teaching didn't stop for him.

Since they found out about the intentions of the new Empire, Leia decided she wanted to complete the training.

Right after the end of Empire and the death of the Emperor, Luke had trained her the ways of the force, along side with Ines, who was finishing her training. But with the job as senator, Leia didn't have much time to train, so they decided to put a hiatus on that. But now, her kids were at risk and she wouldn't allow that, so the training was back.

Right now, she was on the floor breathing heavily, looking up at Luke with his Escrima sticks on his hand.

"You need to concentrate, Leia," Ines said at the entrance of the combat room, where she was watching her husband and her sister in law, having a hand in hand combat fight with the Escrima Sticks.

The first thing Leia needed to know was how to combat fight. She was a great shooter and she could punch really hard, but combat was not her expertise. So for the past two weeks that was she was doing.

She was already pretty good with the bamboo staff, but she still had some difficulties with the sticks.

"I am concentrate," she said standing up and looked at her.

"Then you need to concentrate more," Luke said to his sister. "You need to let the force guide you. Let it flow through you and you would be able to anticipate your opponent movements and strike it down."

Leia looked at him and nod.

"Okay," she said taking a deep breath, trying to slow down her breathing.

"Again," Luke said.

Getting in a fight position, Luke attacked. Thinking of what her brother just told her seconds ago, Leia raised her arms and block the attack by crossing her sticks.

Waving back, Luke strike, making Leia duck, twirling on the floor she trying to make Luke loose balance, but the Jedi Master jumped.

After strike and blocks, they end with their Escrima sticks above their head, in a cross, while the twins looked each other in the eyes, with a smile on their faces.
