Chapter 100 - Father and kids

They entered where their father had being living for the past years in Naboo.

Ines and Dan couldn't believe that their father had being living in that small house with only 2 rooms. It really break Ines heart.

"You've being living here all this time?" Dan asked him. Ines could see from her brother's tone of voice, that he was also surprised by the place.

"I know this is not much, but with the small money I get from my work, it is the only place I could get." he said.

"You know we will not let you live here anymore. You are coming with us, and then to Coruscant." Ines told him.

"Exactly. You will be living with me, Gracy and the kids."

"Kids!" Ken Talia repeated with a smile on his. "Gracy. I remember her. And my grandson. How is he?"

"He is a young man. He is 11 now."

"11 already!" Ken said. "Is he here?"

"No, he stayed in Coruscant since soon the Jedi Training will start and he can't be here."

"Jedi Training?" Ken asked.

"Yes. Your grandson is like his aunt and uncle." Dan said looking at Ines and Luke.

Ken looked at the Luke, who was stand there and then to Ines. Smiling, he rest his hand on his daughter cheek.

"You became such a beautiful woman." he said. "And you too my son. All this time I felt like I was in a dark room, where everything was dark and sometimes I had good days, but then I saw you the other day, and it was like I started to see little by little. And today I felt like I gained by sight for the first time."

"We both thought you were gone, father." Dan said making Ken smiled.

"I thought all of you were gone too. Is Edmar alive too?"

The moment Ines and Dan heard their brother's name, they looked at each other. They both couldn't lie to him about the fact Edmar was gone, but they didn't want to know how and why.

"Sadly he is not, father." Ines spoke looking at him.

"I figure that out. But having you two, it is nice." he said and smile at Ines, while pulling into his arms. "You are not that 18 years old anymore from the last time I saw you."

"10 years had pass father, a lot of things happened in both our lives. But right now, the only thing I want is to bring you home. We are not going to live in this place ever again."

"But, I will be where?" Ken asked

"Sir, for now we are in my grandparents home, and it is there where we will take you, until we moved to Coruscant." Luke said making Ken looked at him.

"Your grandparents?!"

"Yes, the Naberries. My mother's parents."

Ken stare at Luke and smile.

"Of course. You're Luke. Senator Amidala kid. I remember your birth."

"We know you were there father. And we know about him and Leia being twins." Ines smiled

Ken looked at his daughter and back to Luke and then he was sent to that day where he, Bail, and the two Jedi Masters Yoda and Obi Wan Kenobi were watching Senator Padmé giving birth the twins. And how later they had a plan to hid Padmé.

"Your mother..." he started.

"She is in Coruscant. She already came back a while ago." Luke smiled, making Ken nod.

Looking at Ines, Ken smile.

"So that little cutie is my granddaughter?"

Ines giggled and nod.

"One of your many grandkids."

"And you named her Alli, after your mother."

"She and her twin sister both we named after their grandmothers actually." Ines replied at her father.

"And the little baby, what it is name?"

"Luke after his father." Ines said looking at her husband. "And their older brother's name in Ben."

"Ben?"

"That is the way we called Obi Wan when we met him. He was the one how make us met 10 years ago. The day our planet was destroyed." she said walking towards Luke, who wrapped his arms around her as Ines looked at her father, who was smiling.

"So it did happen. You two really got married, just like they say to me that time."

"Yes we did. We also saw your message." Luke said making Ken frown.

"Message?"

"About order 66 and everything that happened with the Jedi 2 days before Luke and Leia were born." Ines said to him, making Ken frown at that information.

"I... I don't remember that actually." he said.

"It is okay. Your memory will return with time." Luke told him.

"Okay." Ken nod looking at Dan. "And what about you son. What are you doing now?"

"I worked for the Republic Guard in Coruscant, while Gracy is Leia's assistance in the senate."

"Leia's?" Ken frown when his son called her that.

"Yes. She will not like when we treat her as Princess. At least her closer friends and family."

"How is she?"

"She is fine. Married with two kids."

"Really?"

"Twin boys. They are the cutest but also a nightmare. Like their parents." Ines laughed remembering her two nephews. "I miss them so much."

"I can't wait to meet them."

"You will, but first you will need to get ready and meet your own grand kids." Dan told him. "Especially your new ones."

"Did you and Gracy had more kids during these 10 years?"

"We have a little girl. A 2 years old named Zena, like Gracy's mother." Dan replied.

"I can't believe. I had 1 grandchild and now I have 5 more."

"And they are eager to meet you." Luke smiled.

"Speaking of them, I believe it is time we get going cause soon a certain baby will started to cry cause he wants his meal." Ines said looking at Luke, who nod.

"You are right. We better go. My grandparents are waiting for us."

"I can't go looking like this?" Ken said looking at his clothes and how he looked.

"Don't worried, you can all clean there." Dan said patting his shoulder. "Let's go home father."

Smiling, Ken grabbed his bags and before leaving, he gave one last look at the place that was his home for the past years. Now it was time to be with his kids.
