Chapter 47 - Coruscant Library

After they get the information that the Library was attacked, Luke, Han, Chewie and Ahsoka, decided to check what happened and why the library was under attack and what they took from it. They also decided to take R2 with them, since the little droid could get access to the database and know what happened.

As for Leia and Ines, they decided to take the kids to their apartment and not leave the place until they arrive.

The guys, alongside with Chewie, Ahsoka and R2, arrived at the Library, where Dan and Wedge were at the entrance, waiting for them.

"Luke," Dan said walking towards them.

"Hey, we go the news and we decided to come to check it out," he replied to his brother in law

"I'm glad you guys knew about this, cause we were about to call you," Wedge said also approaching.

"So what is the report?" Han asked.

"Well, everything was calm, getting ready to end their shift, and get back home, when according to some workers, the alarm started to beep."

"The fire alarm?" Ahsoka said

"Yes. So of course, some workers started to evacuated, while others try to find out where it was and help to ending."

"And there was no fire?" Luke said.

"They didn't find anything. So they thought maybe it was something with the alarm. So two workers decided to check the old archives of the library, and that was when it happened," Wedge said.

"What?" Ahsoka asked.

"Someone was there. When the workers asked who was it and why the person was there, whoever was, started to shot at them." Dan said.

"Sadly it killed one of the worked and injured the other one. That worker was able to call security, warning that someone was in the archives of the library," Wedge continue.

"Did that worker see the person's face?" Luke asked

"No. It was dark and the person had a mask on. But he was still able to hear the voice, saying it was done." Dan said. "He said it was a female voice."

They looked at each other.

"He is sure?" Han asked.

"Yes. It was a female voice. He can't tell if it was human or some other species, but it didn't spoke any alien's language." Wedge said looking at them.

"So we can assume it is human," Ahsoka said.

"Do you know what she was doing?" Luke asked.

"We didn't entered yet. We actually wanted you to come here first," Dan said.

"Well let's see," Han said.

Nodding, they entered inside the library.

Surprisingly, there wasn't a lot of damage inside the Coruscant library. But when they entered inside the archives, they saw a sheet covering a body.

R2 beeped.

"There is nothing we can do for him R2," Luke said tapping his friend while Chewie growled sadly.

"It was here that the worker saw the female," Dan said stopping.

The place looked like the Jedi Archives.

"It doesn't seem anything was damage," Han said looking around.

"Because the person didn't want to damage anything. It came to get information," Luke said looking at Ahsoka, who nod at him.
