I am pleased to announce that I have finally finished my new Xingyun book! I'll publish a chapter a day (and with God as my witness I will try my very best to stick to that schedule), and it's about 28 chapters total.
Hope to see you there :)

Chongyun stares at the monotonous grey sea that was Xingqiu's ceiling, his arms spread out on the bed around him. Xingqiu himself was leaning against the wall by his bed, his knees up away from his chest.
"Xingqiu."
"Yes, my liege?"
"I'm bored."
"As am I. Although, we could-"
"No."
Xingqiu sits up and looks at him under a gaze that was hiding a million secrets. "I haven't even finished my sentence, dear Chongyun. How could you possibly object to something you don't have the intentions of?"
"You were gonna suggest the thing again." Chongyun blushes, looking from the ceiling to Xingqiu's dresser.
"Oh, that old thing? That's merely something I suggested we do if we're extraordinarily bored." Xingqiu shrugged, patting Chongyun on the thigh. "Don't worry, was only a thought."
Chongyun grumbles under his breath before sitting up slightly with an accusatory gaze. "Yeah, just a thought. Why would you suggest kissing as something we do to pass the time and get rid of our boredom? And why would you suggest it every time we're bored if it was just a thought?"
Xingqiu looked slightly taken aback by Chongyun's accusations, but it was hard to tell with his generally composed expression. "Because it's both something I think we could learn to do better and something that could cure your boredom. Plus, if you've never done it, how would you know you don't want to do it?"
Xingqiu leans over him with a smirk, his previously poised and pretty expression falling to show what he was truly feeling. "Unless, of course, you have a girlfriend and you're not telling me. Then it'd make sense why you wouldn't want to kiss me, and in which case I'm gladly drop the subject matter."
"I don't have a girlfriend!" Chongyun defends himself. The last thing he needed was for Xingqiu to think he didn't like guys in the first place. Then there would be no way he'd ever like him back.
Yes, yes, he admits it- he likes Xingqiu's stupid face and stupid hair and his pretty clothes and nice legs and sometimes he wishes he could wipe that god damn smirk off of his face with him own mouth.
By which, he means, yes. He'd love to kiss him. But he was way too nervous to ever say yes to Xingqiu because he was scared he'd fuck up somehow.
"Now now, it's really no problem if you do. I won't hold it against you." Xingqiu laughs, moving to sit away before Chongyun grabs his hand.
"I promise you that I don't have a girlfriend." Chongyun tells him seriously.
Xingqiu sits quietly for a moment before he mumbles something almost inaudible.
"What about a boyfriend?"
Chongyun's face burned scarlet at the question, and oh how he'd love love LOVE to say that yes, he did have a boyfriend and that boyfriend was him.
But of course, he couldn't, so instead he just went "No."
Xingqiu nods after his responses and sits back against the wall, Chongyun loosening his grip on his hand.
"Very well then. I suppose the topic of kissing shall be saved for another day." Xingqiu says, making himself comfortable.
"Wait."
