Chapter 83.

Roman watched the love of his life grab onto the Witch's hand and fly away, still holding his stomach from Virgil's shove. He noticed as people began to come out of their hiding spots, and Roman could see military vehicles beginning to line up.

"Green. Let's go." Roman said, walking over as Remus opened a portal to the clearing and led everyone through, before going into the Sanctuary and closing the portal. Janus was in his arms, still morphed but flickering back and forth as he tried to stay conscious. Roman saw his brother whisper to him, and Janus's suit finally faded off of him. Roman paced for a moment as Remus took Janus over to their bed, before spinning on Logan.

"We should talk."

Logan nodded, crossing his arms and deactivating. "Yes. I believe we should."

Roman deactivated too, looking as Logan seemed like he was about ready to scream.

"Why the fuck did you let Virgil go out there?" Logan said after a moment. "If he'd stayed back here, then none of this would've happened!"

Roman took a step away, feeling anger rise. "Excuse me? Who was supposed to guard Virgil's chip! You should've told us you'd lost the damn thing!"

"Lost it? It is in my bag!"

"It's clearly fucking not, because it's in Virgil!" Roman gestured out the entrance.

"Even if it was lost, you should not have let-"

"I'm not his fucking keeper, Logan. Virgil deserves to not be a goddamn prisoner! Especially when his friend was supposed to be guarding his chip!"

Logan took a threatening step forwards, Roman did too. "You asked me if I wanted to study it! I was trying to keep it away from Virgil! Then you decided to say 'fuck the risks' and put everyone else in danger! Patton is probably getting chipped right now, and you will not even acknowledge that it is your fault!"

"My fault? Patton getting chipped is solely because you decided not to keep anyone in the loop with what you were doing! Why'd you let it out!?"

"I did not!"

Roman laughed scornfully. "Right, so the damn thing escaped on its own then."

"I would never have let it out! You should have made Virgil stay! He would have listened to you!"

"Hell no he wouldn't've! He would've snuck out behind us and gone anyway! You know what would've kept him safe? Making sure you knew where his damn chip was!"

"Well, if you are so convinced that I am the sole guilty party, then you can figure this out without my assistance!" Logan and Roman were screaming at this point. Roman could feel flames dancing up his arms and on his shoulders, and things were flying around the room as Logan's powers activated.

"Well, yeah! It'd probably make everything fucking easier too!"

"Fine! I will find Patton without your help." Logan said, turning to face Remus. "Let me out."

"No!" Remus yelled back. "Both of you shut up! Janus is fucking injured, and I don't know what to do. So no one leaves until I get help for him."

Logan stomped over, as Roman stared. "Very well. Let me see." Roman crossed his arms, watching as Logan checked Janus over before sitting back up. "I would advise going to the hospital. It looks like his ribs were damaged, and he is having extreme trouble breathing."

Logan picked the yellow ranger up, and Remus scrambled to follow, opening the portal to leave as Roman watched. "I'm coming too." His mother and grandmother came hurrying past him and to the others.
