1 • Damon Imagine

Imagine being turned by Damon.

It was a dangerous time to be in Mystic Falls, nearly all of the Mikaelson siblings were back in town. People were on edge and wondering when Klaus would strike next and what he was up to.

It was just average day in town, you were walking back from the grill when you felt a presence behind you. You suddenly whipped around but nobody was there.

As you turned back around, you came face to face with him. Klaus. Damon had warned you about him many times, that's why he had given you a vervain bracelet. You swallowed and tried to not appear as terrified as you felt.

"Hello love." He spoke in his very sexy English accent, oh god. Klaus looked down and grabbed your hand, you were frozen and couldn't do anything to stop him. Slowly his hand travelled up to your wrist and ripped the bracelet off. "We're going on a walk, come on." He looked you straight in the eyes, his pupils dilated and you felt uneasy. He was compelling you. Your mind was screaming at you to run away but every atom in your body told you that the only thing to do was walk with Klaus.

You walked until you arrived at the Salvatore boarding house, Klaus made you knock on the big oak door.

"You are not allowed inside until I tell you." Klaus compelled you again and you could only nod.

Stefan opened the door and immediately his face dropped when he saw you stood next to Klaus, you must have looked terrified. Stefan opened the door a bit wider and called out to Damon who walked over to the door, as he saw you all of the colour drained from his face and he clenched his fists.

"Leave her alone." Damon's deep voice sounded deadly.

"Or what? What will Damon Salvatore do to save his pathetic human girl?" Klaus mocked making Damon's blood boil. "Will he beg me to not kill her?" Klaus' smirk was evident, why is he doing this?

"Klaus just let her go." Stefan's voice was strong and commanding yet Klaus didn't budge. You involuntarily let out a whimper as Klaus tightened his grip on your wrist.

"I'm not going to until you give me Elena." Klaus argued and you closed your eyes, you should have know that you were Elena leverage. There was no way that Stefan would give up Elena for you and you knew that straight away. However you weren't sure about Damon and that made your heart hurt.

Stefan flicked his eyes to you and you could see the apologetic look in his eyes, he wasn't going to give up Elena. He shouldn't have to be in this situation.

Then you felt Damon's eyes on you and you turned to him, he was motioning for you to just run into the house. Klaus can't get in because he has never been invited in, hopefully he never will be.

"Sorry mate, but she's compelled. She can't leave my side until I say so." Klaus smirked and laughed slightly, both of the brothers faces dropped even more and you felt your heart sink. "Okay, well this has gotten boring really quickly. Let's put a time limit on this." Klaus spoke cockily before turning to you.

"Don't move or scream." He told you before leaning forward and sinking his teeth into your neck. You heard Damon shouting, but you couldn't move or shout yourself. It was a weird feeling; you could practically feel the blood leaving your body and the pain was excruciating.

Finally Klaus let you go and you fell to the ground, before you could hit the floor you felt two strong arms catch you. Looking up through your eyelashes you saw a concerned Damon lowering you to the ground.

"She's lost too much blood." You heard Stefan saw from somewhere far away. "You're going to have to give her your blood Damon." He was urging on his brother. You felt an arm being pushed against your mouth and you turned your head. You had never liked the idea of being fed vampire blood, it made you vulnerable, especially in front of Klaus.

"Please Y/N, you have to drink it." Damon pleaded through gritted teeth, you finally gave in and began to suck on Damon's wrist. You kept choking on the metallic liquid as it trickled down your throat.

"That was a bad move mate." You looked up to see Klaus had Stefan and was holding a stake to his heart. "Kill her or I'll kill your brother." Damon's breath hitched in his throat and he looked down at you. You felt scared but nodded at him, implying that you were ok with it. Well as ok as you get about dying.

You looked over at an amazed Stefan, he didn't think you'd actually do it. You didn't either to be honest.

"Y/N are you sur-" you Damon off by kissing him softly and nodding your head.

"It won't hurt that much will it?" You ask through tears as Damon puts his hands on the back of your neck. Before you get an answer he twists his hands with such force, you feel a sharp pain before the world goes dark.

You sat up quickly and gasped for air before looking around quickly. A loud ringing sounded in your ears and your head pounded. You felt someone place their hand on your shoulder and you jumped cautiously, looking to your left you saw Damon. 

"What happened?" You mumbled and closed your eyes, the light was becoming blinding.

"You're in transition, you died with Damon's blood in your system." You recognise the voice as Stefan's, it was coming back to you. Stefan was almost killed and the only way to save him was for Damon to turn you. You slowly opened your eyes and peered at Stefan.

"I remember." You nod at him and he smiles slightly.

"Thank you." Stefan spoke. "I'll leave you two alone." Stefan walked out of the room leaving you with Damon.

"How are you feeling?" Damon asked sounding extremely concerned.

"Ugh." Was the reply you gave him.

"Trust me these next few days are the worst, I'm not going to lie. But I know you are strong enough to get through them, Bonnie has already been over and made a daylight ring for you." You just smiled and hugged Damon tightly.

"I'm so sorry this has happened to you, Y/N." Damon spoke sadly.

"It's alright, I love you Damon."

"I love you too, Y/N"
