Imagine having a crush on Damon but he doesn't know you.

You'd lived in Mystic Falls for a while now, it seemed ordinary enough. In your opinion it was honestly becoming quite boring to you.

That was until this morning. You'd woken up and gone down to have breakfast, the news was on. They were saying something about two animal attacks in 24 hours.

You were easily scared by things like these so it made you worry about when you were driving or walking alone. You sighed and shook the thoughts from your head, telling yourself that there was no point fretting over these kind of things.

After you had gotten ready for the day, you got into your car and headed for the grill where you worked. You'd easily gotten the job after you'd first moved here and you loved talking with all of the locals that came in everyday. It was, in your opinion, a great job that came with lots of bonuses like the social side of it.

You walked into the grill and to no surprise found it nearly empty, it was 8:30am on a Tuesday morning. Only some regulars who always have breakfast were sat at the booths.

You placed down your bag behind the bar and put on the apron with your name tag on. After serving a few people their breakfast, you swapped with one of the other staff and went to work behind the bar.

This was one of the parts that you didn't enjoy as much, working on your own in the morning at an empty bar. It was extremely boring, to the point where the only entertainment you had was picking your nails.

That was until an unfamiliar face walked in and took a seat on one of the bar stools, you didn't think he'd want to order anything so you just left him to it. However you got a weird feeling that you'd seen him before, but you couldn't remember where. After he coughed to get your attention, you finally looked up. He had dark hair and a cocky smirked spread across his face as he spoke.

"One glass of Bourbon please." He spoke as if it was nothing as you stood there trying to process what he'd just said.

"O-okay, sure. I-I'll be right back with that." You stuttered before walking off to ask someone for help, you yourself didn't even know if you sold it in this place.

However that wasn't one of the questions that were bothering you the most. You'd never seen him in here before so maybe he's new, and why is he drinking such strong alcohol at this time in the morning?

"Hey, where's the bourbon?" You asked one of the staff members in the back room, she looked at you and raised an eyebrow.

"There's some on the shelf over there, it's quite expensive though." She spoke and pointed to a shelf that housed various liquor's. "Anyway who wants that stuff in the morning?" She asked sounding quite confused.

"I'll explain later." You replied and grabbed one of the bottles before heading back out to the main bar area. "Sorry for the wait." You smiled at the guy, you couldn't help but notice how good looking he was.

"It's okay." He smiled lightly at you making you blush slightly, you poured his drink before handing it to him. "Thanks." He smiled and downed the drink in front of you.

Your eyes widened as he smirked and placed the glass down, he got up to leave and that's when you frowned.

"Ugh, hold on a sec. You still have to p-pay!" You spoke as he walked out of the door, you ran after him but as you burst through the door he was nowhere to be seen. It was as if he'd completely vanished, you frowned before walking back inside and standing behind the bar once more.

All through out your shift, the only thing that you could think about was that guy. How you felt you'd definitely seen him before somewhere. That's when it hit you. You'd seen the strangely attractive guy walking around with Caroline Forbes. She was always coming in here with her friends. But when you though about it, you remembered seeing her in that guys car and walking around whilst holding hands.

You wondered where she was now, you hadn't seen her for a while and it was clear that she wasn't with that guy because he was alone.

A few days past and there was still no sign of the mystery guy, he hadn't returned to the grill and you also hadn't seen him around town lately either. You'd shamefully developed a sort of crush on the hot guy, forgetting all about the fact that he'd not even payed for his drink.

You'd been listening to gossip that some people were talking about and it sounded like Caroline had been involved in one of the animal attacks or something. It sounded pretty brutal and scary but apparently she's okay now.

All you could think about was the guy though, he was so mysterious yet cocky and just strange. You sighed as you began to finish your shift for the day and take off your apron.

You walked out to the car park and unlocked your car. Before you could get in however, a voice stopped you.

"Hello again." You instantly recognised the voice and when you turned around, your suspicions were confirmed. You heart fluttered at the sight of him and he

"H-hi." You spoke as he smirked at you.

"I believe I never introduced myself, I'm Damon." He smiled at you, his whole demeanour was coming across as extremely confident yet a bit cocky.

"I'm M-Maddy." You mentally slapped yourself for stuttering so badly. You couldn't help it though, he was extremely attractive.

"So Maddy, you wanna go and get a drink?" His voice was laced with confidence and made you slightly uncomfortable yet intrigued to learn more about him. He was so good looking but at the same time he radiated off the 'bad boy' image as he stood there in his leather jacket.

"Uh s-sure." You spoke nervously as his smirk only grew.

"I'll pay, so then we're even for the other day." He spoke, reminding you of the fact that he basically stole a glass of bourbon from under your nose.

You didn't understand how or why you were attracted to such a bad boy kind of guy, but you didn't care. He was showing an interest in you, and you weren't exactly about to stop him either.

So this new book I'm working on is really different to anything on Wattpad that I've seen before and I really hope that you guys enjoy reading it as much as I'm enjoying writing it. I'll let you know when it's ready though! :)
