54: How He Comforts You

Damon: After driving around for a while you wound up at the Salvatore's. Still with tears pouring down your cheeks, you knocked on the wooden door through your blurred vision.

"Y/N? What happened?" Damon questioned after opening the door, you tried to reply but your frail voice couldn't even begin the words. Damon gestured for you to come inside and you did so hastily.

He embraced you in a tight hug once you were inside and rubbed soothing circles on your back.

"E-Enzo." You managed to speak in between your sobs, fully aware that your tears were staining the shoulder of Damon's shirt.

"What about him?" Damon asked softly, leading you over to the couch.

"H-he ch-cheated." You closed your eyes, afraid of Damon's reaction.

"He what!" Damon stood up abruptly and you opened your eyes to see his jaw and fists clenched.

"Please don't do anything." You muttered as Damon reluctantly nodded, complying to your request.

"I'm so sorry y/n." Damon sighed and sat back down. "You can stay here as long as you want." He then offered as you shook your head.

"No honestly Damon it's fine, I can go home I don't want to be a burden. I just...I can't go home...yet." You spoke in defeat. "H-he's packing up his stuff and I don't want to be there." You explained as Damon nodded.

"Well you're welcome to at least stay the night, in fact to make sure that you do I'm going to make your favourite pancakes." He spoke as you smiled lightly. "Starting now, you wait here and I'll make them."

You knew that Damon seemed to now be on a mission to make you feel better which you were kind of glad about, you needed a distraction.

Stefan: You drove to the Salvatore house and let yourself in, knowing the spare key was in a nearby plant pot.

"Y/N?" Stefan called out after hearing the door open and close, you stepped in and just stood there. Stefan appeared and frowned when he saw you; suddenly you broke. You began to feel the tears building up and just let them fall for about the tenth time today.

You put your hands up to cover your face but soon felt Stefan's presence near you.

"Shhhh, it's okay." Stefan spoke soothingly and wrapped his arms around you, rocking you slightly as you cried into his chest. "Just let it all out and we'll talk later okay?" Stefan added as you nodded between sobs, you were wishing that you'd run out of tears soon and that the pain in your heart would subside. But for the moment all you could do is cry, with Stefan's arms tightly wrapped around you in an effort to make everything better again.

Klaus: You drove all the way to the Mikaelson house in search of your best friend. You needed him more than ever, however felt slightly scared that he may overreact.

"Klaus." You spoke breathlessly as he answered the door and frowned. You didn't say anything else but just stepped forwards and hugged him tightly.

"What's up love?" He questioned as you began to cry again.

"It's Enzo, he-he ch-cheated on me w-with C-Caroline." You blubbered as Klaus' face dropped and anger filled his eyes.

"I'm gonna-"

"Don't do anything, please don't kill him." You pleaded; however much you hated him at that moment, you knew that you'd be more guilty and regretful in the future which was a path you didn't want to go down.
