*Eli's P.O.V*
"You have a lot of college brochures." I said to my girlfriend as we walked together down a hallway while we're trying to see what's happening with colleges.
"I'm trying to have options." She said, "And plus, I'm waiting to see what school you're going to. I want to at least be able to go to the same college as you or be close to you."
"I'm sure Demetri can tell you what the plan is." I told her.
"What about me?" We both heard a voice.
Amy and I both turned to see Demetri standing behind us. He must've heard me say his name and then he decided to join in on the conversation.
"You know the plan for college."
"Yes, yes I do." He pointed to me and then looked at Amy, "We're planning on going to MIT."
"MIT? The college that's in Boston?"
"Yes, ma'am." Demetri tells my lady.
Amy let out a low chuckle. "I guess I should also look at colleges that's in Boston because all I have right now is colleges in California."
"Thinking about going to Boston too?" Demetri asked her.
"Only because my boyfriend could be going there. It's not a sure thing yet."
"Then it should be a sure thing.." My binary brother continued talking, "Since our mind has already been made up. Come to Boston with us."
"I'll look at some schools then." Amy had let Demetri know.
From ahead, we could see Miguel and Sam walking towards us. They are doing the same thing as us, seeing what colleges we could apply for. Sam seemed to have a few brochures in her hands. I know Miguel is trying to go to Stanford still.
"Hey." Demetri said to them.
"What's up?" I said.
"Look at you, Sam." I heard Amy say from beside me. "All of those brochures."
"I could say the same to you, Amy." Sam laughed and it caused my girl to laugh as well.
"All of our trials and tribulations of nerdom have finally come to this." Demetri said. "We're the belles of the ball."
His sentence caused me to let out a chuckle.
"Is that what we are?" Miguel asked.
"Oh, yes, my friend. They are fumbling around our dresses trying to cop a feel of our tantalizing brains."
"Okay, that's where I leave you." Sam said before giving Miguel a kiss.
"I'll say the same." I heard Amy say before turning to me. "I'll talk to you later."
"Okay, babe." Then I kissed her on the lips before I watched her walk away with her cousin.
Now it only left me and my two best friends.
"You made our girlfriends run away." Miguel said to Demetri.
"Well, Yasmine likes it when I talk nerdy."
"That's because she's your girlfriend." I said, "Sam and Amy are our girlfriends and we like to keep it cool."
"I can keep it cool."
Miguel and I stifled a laugh together but we didn't say anything else. But we continued our conversation about college because it's what's being presented to us.
"So what college are you guys thinking of going to?" Miguel asked us.
"Eli and I have our eyes set on MIT. It's been that way for years."
