*Amy's P.O.V*
My aunt's reaction to my secret went how I thought it would. She was shocked, speechless and she couldn't even get words out. The silence between us felt like it was suffocating and it made me worried because I need Amanda to say something. I need that comfort, warmth.
"You think you're pregnant, Amy?" She asked.
"I think so." I said, tears coming to my eyes again. Or if anything, the tears never stopped.
"When did you start thinking you were?"
"It was after the first time I threw up.." I said, thinking back to when it happened. I had some breakfast that Daniel made and Sam caught me throwing up. "I didn't think much of it at first but then it happened again. Sam saw it happened and I had to tell her that I was having an upset stomach. Then I realized I haven't been on my period for a bit."
"And then you fought Tory just now.."
"I didn't know how to tell anyone. I didn't know how to tell my own boyfriend because I got scared. And my emotions are all over the place."
"Have you taken a test?"
"No." I shook my head. "I just kept the lingering question in my mind as I would work hard to have a spot on the Sekai Taikai."
"And now you know that you won't have a spot on the team." My aunt said, "You could possibly be pregnant and it'll be harmful for the baby if you fought."
"What are we going to do?" I then asked my aunt.
"The first ideal thing would be to take the test." She tells me, "And then we'll figure it out from there. I might have to schedule an appointment to just make sure that you are indeed pregnant and it's not false."
"I'm scared to tell Uncle Daniel and Eli."
"It's okay, honey. That's normal."
I nodded to what my aunt said before I looked at the ground. Then I heard my aunt's phone going off but I paid it no attention. I was still trying to process everything that has happened in the past five minutes.
Tears were still in my eyes and I would let them fall, not even caring anymore. I could be with child, Eli's child. This is very scary and I don't even know what my boyfriend will say once I tell him.
Minutes went by before I stopped crying and then I decided to leave the building. I opened the sliding doors and the first time I see is Tory yelling "I'm done" before she left Miyagi-Do. What the hell happened?
And as I joined the rest of the dojo, they all looked at me with much concern on their faces.
"Amy, are you alright?" My uncle asked me.
I ignored his question as I asked my own, "What happened?"
"Tory left Miyagi-Do."
"But why?"
"You're stressed right now, honey." He put his hand on my shoulder. "I don't want to make it worse."
"So who's team captain for the female?"
"It's Sam unless you want to fight her for it?"
"No." I shook my head. "It should be Sam."
"And we're thinking that since Tory left, we'll have Hawk take her place." Johnny said beside my uncle.
From the corner of my eye, I can see my boyfriend beaming. But would he have that kind of reaction when I tell him that I might be having his child?
"So our team is complete.." Daniel smiled, "We have Sam, Miguel, Robby, Hawk, Demetri, and-"
