Chapter 26: Family Dinner

*Amy's P.O.V*

We were back at the dojo, time for more training.

The plan for today is that we're going to learn each others styles.

Miyagi-Do will learn offense while Eagle Fang will learn defense.

Standing between Sam and Eli, we got started.

So first, Sam started doing the attacking while Daniel would block every move that she would be making.

Then when Miguel and Johnny were next, Johnny would do the attacking while Miguel would block every move.

Then Uncle Daniel called me up.

I went for the attack with punches and Daniel would block.

I went for a kick but my uncle stopped it.

That happened for a little bit before it continued.

I watched on as Johnny and Daniel would be on the sparring deck and while Johnny was wearing a protective mask and a covering pad over the chest, Daniel would do some punching.

We even did some meditation which I found really relaxing.

Daniel then ended up wearing the same gear that Johnny was wearing so that Johnny was doing the attacking.

That was going well before Johnny mimicked my uncle's crane kick and Daniel sighed.

I had to hold in my laugh because it was funny.

The sparring continued with the other students before training was done for the day.

Let me tell you, I was exhausted after we finished.

I immediately went over to my uncle to ask him something.

"Hey, Uncle Daniel. Can I ask you something?"

"Yeah, Amy. What is it?" He looked at me.

"I know we have that dinner with the Diaz family today and I was wondering if Eli can come." I asked with pleading eyes.

Daniel had a small smile on his face.

"Of course, he can come."

"Thank you." I hugged him and he hugged me back.

"Just be sure to let him know." He looked in a direction of where Eli was by his car.

I nodded before approaching my boyfriend.

"Hey." I said to Eli.

"Hey, babe." He said as I got closer to him and he gave me a kiss.

I smiled as I kissed him before we pulled away.

"I wanted to tell you that you're invited to dinner tonight at my house. We're having dinner with the Diaz family and I really want you to be there."

"You do, huh?" He smirked.

I smiled. "I would love it if you were there."

"Then I would be there." He grabbed my hand. "I just have to head home first and change."

"See you in a bit."

"See you in a bit, babe." He said as he gave me another kiss before he got in his car and started going home.

I'm so glad he agreed to come to dinner.

I'm excited.

I was dressed in jeans and a blue tie-dye shirt.

My hair was in a ponytail.

You can very well see the purple that was in my hair. I absolutely love my purple hair.
