Ok so now that you have a feel for what I'm doing here, if you have any pairing suggestions, feel free to leave a comment. I can't guarantee I will do them all but if they inspire me I will try.

"You're such a dick." Chenle says as he storms into Jaemin's office. They have been rivals since they both started fighting for the same promotion.
"Now, now, is that any way for you to talk to your new boss? Show some respect." Chenle starts to speak but holds back.
"It should have been me. I work way harder than you and all you do is kiss ass all day." Chenle is taken aback by the sudden dark look in Jaemin's eyes.
"I'd like to kiss, your ass." He says with a smirk that sends chills down the other's spine.
"Watch it, or I'll go to HR. It would be an easy way to get the job I deserve." Jaemin chuckles.
"You wouldn't, and do you know how I know this?" He asks but doesn't wait for a response.
"Because you know damn well they will think you are just being petty." Chenle scoffs.
"Whatever boss. See you Monday." Jaemin offers him a wave and a wink making his blood boil.

After a weekend of restless nights Chenle drags himself into work. His thoughts all weekend were consumed by his new arrogant supervisor. He knows he just charmed them all with his pretty face and it makes him crazy. He walks into the break room to pour himself some coffee and dies a little when he sees him standing there all chipper talking animatedly to another coworker. He walks past them with his head down, the last thing he wants to do is talk to him.
"Ahh, good morning Chenle. How are you on this fine Monday morning?" Jaemin asks sickeningly sweet.
"How do you think? It's Monday." He reply's stiffly as he reaches for his cup. Jaemin chuckles.
"Yes, glorious Monday, the first official day of me being the boss of the whole music production department. What a day." He sighs happily, as Chenle just grumbles and walks out.

Over the next few weeks Jaemin's frustration with Chenle's attitude is growing profoundly. Every time he says he wants something one way he argues until Jaemin is yelling at the top of his lungs. Today Jaemin wanted a little peace so he caved at his first argument which caused Chenle to gloat ever so annoyingly. He walks into his office and slams the door shut making most in the office's heads turn.
He sits in his frustration, devising a plan to turn his attitude around. He could win him over by being good at his job but it's more fun this way.
He calls his assistant into the office.
"Yes sir? You need me?" He chuckles.
"Jeno you've been my assistant forever, just because I'm the boss now doesn't mean you can't just call me by my name." Jeno nods with a shy smile.
"Sorry, I guess I just don't want to mess up, with you being more important now." Jaemin smiles.
"We were friends before this happened and I expect to stay that way, unless you have a problem with that?" He quickly shakes his head.
"No, I am definitely still your friend." He says confidently.
"Good, that's exactly why I'm giving you two weeks off." Jeno frowns.
"But, I need the money, hence the reason I have a job in the first place." Jaemin waves his hand.
"No, no. It's paid. I want you to have a nice two week vacation on me." Jeno crosses his arms, a look of skepticism on his face.
"Are you planning to replace me?" He shakes his head with a smile.
"Honestly? I'm doing it to teach Chenle a lesson. Just trust me and have a great time. Start today, you can go." Jeno shrugs.
"Ok, but I better get a paycheck and I better have a job when I return." Jaemin just chuckles and waves him off.

Now to put his plan to good use.
He calls Chenle's cell.
"What? I'm busy." Jaemin smirks.
"Have Kun finish what you started and get to my office right away." Chenle sighs and wants to scream in his face. He hates letting someone else finish what he started, even the most menial of tasks.
"Fine. I'll be there in ten. I have to give him a rundown." Jaemin's smile grows.
"Good. I'll expect you no later." Chenle rolls his eyes so far back it hurts.

When he gets back to their floor he cringes as he looks at the double doored office that was supposed to be his.  He takes a deep breath and knocks.
"Come in." Jaemin says in a much gentler tone than he has been speaking to him, he wonders if he was expecting someone else.
He peeks inside cautiously, he knows he's been riding every one of his last nerves these past few weeks, and he knows he has power over him.
"You needed me?" He questions as he closes the door behind him.
"Yes. Come, sit down." He says as he gestures to the chair in front of his desk. He sets his laptop on the floor and slowly sits, while making eye contact with him.
