Not for the drama (Nomin)

"Jen, baby, it's time!" Jaemin says excitedly as he wraps his arms around Jeno's waist. Shocked, Jeno immediately wraps his own around Jaemin's shoulders for leverage. He shrieks when he is picked up and twirled around.
"Jaem, what? Calm down, please." He begs before he is slowly lowered to the ground. Jaemin pulls back with a huge grin.
"Sorry, everyone is here, we've been waiting for you." Jeno cringes and visibly shrinks in on himself.
"What is it? what's wrong?" Jaemin asks with a frown.
"I'm just nervous, I'd rather not be here with everyone." Jaemin makes a pouty face.
"Jen, babe, this is a celebration, for us. We did so well, you did amazing work and it deserves all the attention it's going to get." Jeno sighs and grabs Jaemin's hand for support as he walks in to face everyone.

He hears cheering as he looks over the amount of people in the room and shrinks even further. Jaemin pulls him onto the special spot on the couch set aside for them. He acknowledges everyone with a shy smile and a head nod. Obviously, the rest of his group mates are here, but even some members of 127 and WayV are here, as well as their group managers and some of their body guards that have become more like family throughout the years. He tries to hide the fact that there are tears brimming his eyes as he sits and snuggles against Jaemin's shoulder.

"Finally." Chenle says earning a soft elbow from Jisung  who's sitting between him and Jeno and a semi hard slap to the back of his head from Renjun, who is cuddled next to Yangyang on Chenle's other side.
"What? I'm excited to start this." He says with a pout.
"It's ok, we can start now." Jeno says softly.

With their fingers entwined and their hearts beating rapidly, Jaemin hits play on his and Jeno's new drama.
Everyone assembled at Jaemin's apartment for a watch party that Jeno was seriously thinking of skipping. He honestly didn't want anyone to watch it. He knows there will be good hearted teasing but he isn't sure he did a good enough job. As they watch the opening sequence he tries to hide in Jaemin's neck. Jaemin chuckles and lifts his chin with his finger and smiles warmly at him. He understands Jeno's insecurities, he understands Jeno inside and out, a bi product of knowing someone for a little over a decade will do that. But Jaemin knows it's more than that, his knowledge of Jeno goes deeper than the others.

As the story plays out on screen, there are little ooh's and ahh's, and a few comments here and there, but nothing bad. Everyone is of course supportive of each other's work, whether group related or solo activities.
As it gets to the scene where Woojin finds out Taehee is a ghost Jaemin feels Jeno squeeze his hand. He looks over to see a sadness in his eyes and frowns.
Jeno just shakes his head at him, he'd rather not talk about it now. Jaemin mouths "later" to him and he nods absentmindedly.

"Guys, that was so good. I wish it was longer. You deserve more screen time for sure." Mark says truthfully which gets a lot of agreement from the others.
"Thanks Mark." Jeno says softly.

"Wow, I'm reading Twitter right now and holy shit. The fans love it. Although a lot are disappointed it wasn't a BL." Chenle says with a chuckle.

"Fans can be so pushy with their shipping agendas sometimes." Mark says with an eye roll.
"Who cares, we are idols, our job is to entertain the fans, and if they like the idea of us being madly in love with one of or coworkers than so be it." Taeyong says with a shrug.
"Besides the company literally tells us to be extra touchy with someone when that ship is popular just to feed their fantasies. It's good for business, but sometimes the fans are just perceptive and they figure out that there may really be feelings involved." Mark looks at him with a raised brow.

"What? You don't think out of all of us, that there could be feelings deeper than friendship?" Mark's eyes go big as he shakes his head.
"I uh, I don't know, I guess. Who?" Taeyong just shakes his head as Mark looks around like someone will just raise their hands.
