So, surprise, I lied. I was planning to do a triple upload the entire time. I wanted more opportunities to develop the characters further, so they could stand on their own two feet and really grow. And I think I'm going in the right direction. I hope. Anyway, if you guys enjoy this, be sure to slap the vote button, follow me, and share this with everyone. Continuing from the last chapter, Cuttlefish gathered us all together to commence our training session with a sense of purpose. He opened with an important lesson.

Cuttlefish: Before we start our training, there is something you should all know. We must never learn martial arts to pick fights or to impress others. We must master the art of peace in addition to the art of war. We achieve victory by the art of war; victory is won through strategy, and strategy is derived from the art of peace. But if someone evil threatens you or any other innocent people with unethical force, it is your duty to defend. Do you understand?

Marie: We do, Gramps. You taught us that when the New Squidbeak Splatoon was first established.

Diana nodded in agreement.

Diana: And we still uphold those values today.

Cuttlefish smiled warmly, appreciating our commitment.

Cuttlefish: It's heartening to see my teachings still live on. Now, you're all prepared for the Shirei School. To get us started, we'll do a quick warm-up run.

Without delay, we began moving as the first step in our training, unaware at the time that this would be a challenge designed to push our minds, bodies, and spirits to their absolute limits, forcing us to surpass what we thought was possible.

During our run through the lush countryside, we entered a quaint village nestled among rolling hills. As we approached the village center, we paused when we reached the small, weathered milkman's cart. Cuttlefish came to a halt, and we all stopped alongside him.

Milkman: Good morning, Cuttlefish. Are these your recruits? *He asked, peering up at us with a warm smile*

Cuttlefish: Oh yeah, they are. *Cuttlefish replied, his tone calm and steady*

Azazel: What are they talking about?

Callie: Beats me.

The milkman pulled out his phone and displayed a detailed map of his delivery route to Cuttlefish.

Milkman: This is the road I usually take. *He explained, pointing to the winding trail on the screen*

Inra glanced at me.

Inra: That's a lot of milk, Master.

I nodded, observing the crates filled with carefully wrapped bottles.
