Before this chapter starts, I just wanna say that I've been incredibly distracted by the Legion Remix event that is currently ongoing in World of Warcraft. It's been taking up so much of my time that I didn't have enough of it to write a chapter for Into the Light. I know some of you may think I have an addiction, but the truth is, I don't.

It's not addiction. It's love.

As always, I just wanna say thank you guys so much for all the support you've shown me and everything that I do. You guys are awesome; you should feel awesome, and if you wanna show some support, you can go ahead and slap that vote comment, leave a comment, share the story, and follow me.

Also, we're still on the quest to reach 10k reads and 300 votes on Into the Light by the end of 2025. So don't wait any longer, let's reach our goal.

Hope you guys like this chapter, and I'll see you all later.

Enjoy! :>

(Azazel's POV)

Jaunary 9th, 2023 ME

Night had fully enveloped the Desolate Sea, casting an inky blanket across the sky. The faint glow of the moon shimmered over the dunes, illuminating our path as we journeyed toward the Tomb of Cyrux. Our mission was urgent: we needed to prevent the Darklings from unlocking whatever ancient power lay hidden within the ominous Black Vault. As we trudged along, the weight of our task heavy in the air, I noticed Marina gazing up at the twinkling night sky, her expression a mix of wonder and nostalgia.

Azazel: I forgot how much you love the night sky, Marina. *I said, breaking the silence that had settled around us*

Marina: Mhm. I've always been obsessed with them since I was a little girl. I used to look up at the fake starry skies in the underground cities every night... I've always dreamt of going up there and touching the real stars with my own hands. *Her eyes sparkled with a distant longing*

Pearl: She sure loves to dream big. *Pearl chimed in, her tone teasing but warm*

Marina smiled sheepishly.

Marina: I know it sounds a bit silly, Senpai.

Callie: I think it's kinda cute, actually. * There was an infectious energy in her voice that made the moment feel lighter*

As I watched Marina's face glow with the light of her dreams, an idea struck me like a bolt of electricity.

Azazel: Hey, Shantae. *I called out, my heart racing with excitement*

Shantae: Yes? *Shantae replied, her bright eyes shimmering with curiosity*

Azazel: Could you wish me to grow giant? *I asked, my hearts pounding with the thrill of the possibility*

Shantae: I'll try. *Shantae said with determination*

She concentrated, pouring her vibrant magic into me. In a matter of seconds, I felt a rush of energy surge through my body as I expanded to titanic proportions.

Marie: Holy crab! He's huge! *Marie exclaimed, her eyes wide with disbelief*

With newfound height, I reached toward the heavens, my fingers grazing the stars. I felt an incredible warmth around me, and to my astonishment, I plucked a Super Star out of the sky, reminiscent of the ones from Super Mario, glowing with a soft, inviting light.
