Chapter 70 Skateboards and Reminiscing

After playing GTA just running around blowing Subscribers up and racing around the map for a few hours we stopped recording. It was just us playing Turps was busy with Christmas livestream stuff and Sips was apparently out of the office.I Put my green controller down since that was what I was using to play GTA, we were playing on PC but I was terrible with a mouse and keyboard. 'Right, we are going out at four.' Smith said looking at me I looked at the clock on my computer and that only left us with two hours before we were going out. 'Ok what do we do between now and then?'I Asked spinning in my chair, 'we have no editing to do before the week end.' Trott said and then Ross looked like he had a eureka moment. 'I know what we could do, but we will have to go home first and get some stuff.' He said and us three looked at each other. 'Sounds like a plan.'I Said.

We all arrived home and Katie looked very surprised to see us. 'What are you up to?' Ross had already ran upstairs. 'We don't really know.'I Told her as Ross came back down with a long rectangular box. 'Right you guys need some trainers.' He said holding the box looking like a child at Christmas. We did what he said and met him outside on the drive with his box and he told us to follow him.

We walked for around five to ten minutes before we came to a fairly scruffy park, being November it was pretty chilly to say the least, we were all stood in our trainers with our coats up over our mouths. 'Are we filming this?' Trott asked since Ross had told Trott last minute to get the camera. 'Yeah a little bit.' Ross said taking the camera equipment and setting it up in front of the bench. We all sat on the bench walst Ross pressed play. The guys all chatted for a little while explaining this was a really impromptu thing. Ross finally opened the box and revealed a skate board. 'What?' Smith said what we all thought, 'yeah it was a bit of an impulse buy I must admit. When was the last time you skated?' Ross asked us all, 'Ages.' Was the guys answer and I had never done it in my life, 'Well this is going to be fun then.'I Said as Ross put the board on the floor. To record some of the stuff we had to call in Tom C. Ross was managing to get up some speed and do some sort of basic jump but he was rusty to say the least. Smith had a go, 'be careful.'I Said as he set off and instantly almost crashed into a wall.' Trott and I were reluctant to try after watching Ross and Smith, who had more experience than us, almost fall flat on their faces multiple times. Trott mostly sat on it and went down the slopes but he stopped after a few minutes or so and Ross picked up the board and held it out to me. 'Oh god no I'm happy with my elbows staying in one place.'I Said, 'Come on you can do it.' Ross insisted and I took the board from him and placed it on the floor, each of them were trying to tell me how to push off and keep my balance.I Pushed off once and the board almost slipped out from under me. 'Ok yeah I think that's enough for me.'I Said shaking from the cold chill. 'Alright.' Ross said picking up the board.

The guys faffed around for a little while in the park and stuff,I Just watched from a bench similar to a mum would do walst her kids played in the park. Tom had to go back to the office so we stopped recording, he left the camera next to me walst the guys were messing around. Smith walked over to me and sat down and I shuffled into him. 'It's fucking freezing.'I Said shivering and Smith chuckled, 'come on.' he said standing up and holding his hand out and I took it and let him lead me over to where the other two were. Ross was sat on a swing and Trott was on a balance beam walking back and forward. 'Let's try again.' Smith said picking up the board and putting it on the floor between him and me. 'Look honey I like my feet on the floor not on some plywood on wheels.'I Said with my hands in my pockets. 'Come on I got you.' He said holding his arms out,I Rolled my eyes and got on the board and held onto his forearms and we started moving, 'See not too bad.' He said, 'now lean slightly to turn.' He said I leant sideways and the board steamed forward and out from under me. Luckily Smith managed to catch me and I had a death grip around the back of his neck my feet barely touching the floor. 'That was close.'I Said as Ross went to pick up the runaway board. 'You guys ok?' Trott asked as Smith put me down, 'yeah I'm fine.'I Said, 'I wish I could say the same for my neck.' Smith said rubbing the back of his neck,I Smiled at him apologetically and he smiled back.

We went back to the office and we were only there for ten minutes before Smith said that we were off.I Said goodbye to the lads and followed Smith out of the office. 'So you going to tell me where we are going?'I Asked him and he shook his head. 'Just have to wait and see.' He said. At first I thought we might go home and pick up the car but we didn't we just walked.I Kept guessing and each time Smith would say nope and I would know soon enough.

We were walking through the big green park with the lake in the middle when Smith just stopped and sat on a bench.I Looked at him confused, 'sit down then.' He said and I hesitantly sat next to him not really knowing what to expect. 'Where are we?' he asked me and I looked at him. 'What do you mean?'I Asked him now completely lost with where he was going with this whole thing. 'This is the first place that we went together. We went here for lunch.' He told me, 'I remember.'I Said, 'we just sat and chatted.' He recalled and I nodded, 'yeah, you had to ask Lewis and Hannah if you could.'I Chuckled as did he. 'Yeah and we came here to feed the ducks and ducklings.' He told me and I nodded. 'I like it here it's nice and quiet.' He said and I agreed, 'where are you going with this Alex?'I Asked and he looked at me, 'just reminiscing.' He said standing up holding out his hand and we set off again.
